Unexpected comfort in the middle of nowhere near King‘s Canyon NP. The cabin was very well appointed. Comfy bed and very modern bathroom, with good shower pressure. Parking right outside the cabin. Small terrace provided gorgeous view of the Milky Way at night. Nearby restaurant had good dinner options, with excellent beer-on-tap selection. Breakfast was decent. Nice lightshow at sunset. About 10 km to the NP.

The rooms were fabulous. Very clean and well appointed. Check-in and out were easy, and the staff was very welcoming. The local bar and grill where we ate dinner and breakfast was amazing. Dinner was steak, which was cooked exactly as we ordered, and the price was so affordable. Breakfast was a feast. The food at Kings Canyon was far superior to Sails and the local cafes at Yulara (Uluru). The whole vibe here was welcoming and a really nice change from Sails at Yulara. Well done. I'll be back 👍
Nothing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The only thing that I didn't like was that I only booked one night.

I’m glad we chose to stay at Kings Canyon instead of Uluru. Not only the region and the trails available is beautiful, the resort completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the standard room and it was fully renovated, spacious (double sink) bathroom and bedroom. A/C working perfectly, big smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi. The breakfast was superb, great variety. The same can be said about the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced, good variety of options and good quality. There is also a bar facing the canyon, where you can sio some drinks and enjoy the sunset or sunrise (you can do it by yourself or book one of their packages). In general this resort definitely exceeded my expectations.
Only the pool area. It could be relocated to somewhere more central and make it a bit bigger. We ended up not using it but went to have a look.

The staff are all awesome, the food is plentiful and the facilities are great! Definite value for money and well located. The buffet breakfast was perfect - lots of food on offer, the pancakes were delicious, the fruit was ripe, and well priced for a buffet (with the discounted price - I don't think I would have paid the full price of $24 per adult and $12 per child).
The shower heads in the ladies amenities in between the lodge and pool are disgusting! Every single one had caked on green limestone - it made me want to puke for the sake of a $20-$30 replacement at retail value! The wi-fi also doesn’t work in the rooms which made it impossible to plan ahead at night. Also, the verandah lights are not needed - we couldn't sit out side to enjoy the view because the moths were annoying, and the stars were not visible with the lighting.

Loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Excellent breakfast and good food in the main restaurant. Nice bar where you could enjoy the sunset and the view of the canyon. Last but not least... A huge THANK YOU to Dave, Head of Maintenance, who saved us when we got a puncture driving back on the dirt road from Alice Springs. He came immediately at 7:30pm to help us out and with a big smile and amazing attitude! A big shout out also to the lady in the reception who alerted Dave.

Booked 1nights accommodation, in a deluxe room, including breakfast, costing $739/night. Efficient informative checkin ahead of the stated book in time of 15:00. We were allocated Room 218. The complex is single storey & car parking is close by. The complex is well kept. The building is a great design. There is a verandah on the west elevation where the access door is. Our room faces east looking towards a natural rock wall. A sliding door leads to a balcony with comfortable seating. The other part of the room has a deep bathtub overlooking the wall too. Very quiet & private. Theres a comfortable sofa & very comfortable bed. 2upright chairs & a dining table. Plenty of space to put luggage. Air con works well. Wifi in the room was intermittent& so was our own wifi. A complementary nespresso machine & pods was provided as well teas & instant coffee. 3 bottles of water also in the fridge too. The ensuite is spacious & well designed. The shower is walk in with a rain shower. Pump action toilettries. Breakfast is provided in Carmichaels Restaurant within the complex. It is bright & airy & overlooks the garden. A buffet breakfast with a good choice of food to suit all tastes. Staff here were particularly friendly & helpful. Food is also available at the general store which provide a lunch & dinner at a reasonable rate. Petrol also available here. We loved our 1 night in our beautiful room.

The deluxe rooms are beautiful and location is fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. We had just spent three nights at Ayers Rock Resort beforehand, and the bedrooms and bathrooms at Kings Canyon were much nicer. Had a great sleep. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Also enjoyed the sunset viewing platform and Light Towers sunrise experience. Was able to get a late check out for small additional cost when checking in. Pizzas at bar and grill were nice.
It's a little bit pricey for one night (but very glad we chose the deluxe room option). Website allows you to book dinner at Charmichaels restaurant. However, they are currently only open for breakfast.

Big room, super comfortable beds, everything was clean and tidy. Service at the reception, the restaurant and the sunset bar was fantastic. Especially at the sunset spot - top notch! Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of option. Dinner menu is good as well and food was delicious.
I would not say that I didn't like it, but I think a barista coffee should be included in the room price if you have breakfast included. Maybe something for the future.

It's a lovely set up that feels very spacious, with clean amenities that are obviously well maintained, good access to basic shopping needs/fuel at the general store (and I didn't feel prices were exorbitant given the remote location,) and a well priced bar and restaurant set up. All of the staff we spoke with were happy, friendly and helpful. The bar overlooking the sunset is lovely, and the happy hour prices can't be beaten. We were only disappointed by our decision not to have made more time to spend here as there's more walks than I realised, and the place is just super relaxing. We definitely plan on going back to explore further.
The bed in the lodge we had felt a bit old and outdated, but we did get a great night's sleep. Fly screen/security doors on the lodges to let some more natural airflow might also be good. But for the location and price we were happy overall.

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room, and only a five or so minute drive from the iconic and breathtakingly beautiful Kings Canyon. Pub meals available right across the road, and walking distance from the excellent Light Towers sound and light installation.
In this day and age I don’t think you can charge $500+ per night for a room that doesn’t have wifi access. Also, just a small thing, but there was no lamp on one side of the double bed, so no way of turning off the room light for one of us without getting out of bed.
