Nice clean motel handy for the town center . Rooms very comfortable they go to a lot of trouble to make the rooms appealing . The outside of this motel is very clean & tidy nice pool area.

The night we stayed it was very noisy , there appeared to be an old car group staying & they sat almost outside our door & as the beer went down they got noisier. They also seem to like reving their cars !!! There was a book of rules for motel in the room but no time was stated , as they do in some motels for noise to cease might be a good idea for one to be put in the rules. WEhave stayed here before & it was lovely bit disappointed this time.

I booked a last-minute overnight stay here after a long drive from Mt Isa with my baby, and it was exactly what I needed to recharge before finishing the drive home the next day. I arrived quite late, without even stopping for food, so the complimentary biscuits were an absolute lifesaver. Even though it was late, the staff gave me such a warm welcome, which made all the difference. I’ve already been talking with my family about coming back for a proper vacation — and next time, I’ll definitely be making time for a swim in that beautiful pool!

Our room was good size. I liked having single bed as well as our double bed. Fridge was very functional with separate freezer. Layout of room was effective with bathroom vanity separate to shower recess separate to toilet. Our room had nice touches with its decor, complimentary bottles of water & wafer biscuits.

We were advised that "flying fox gun shots" would be activated in early hours of morning & they woke us up at 5:30 in morning unfortunately. We realise motel cannot be responsible for this.

Clean. Functional. Friendly Staff. Basic necessities provided. Loved the size of the shower and really soft towels! Great blockout curtains. Carpark bays easily fit our 4WD and was under cover. Nicely presented as our welcome upon entry. Perfect location for our purposes.

The space in the room was a little tight. It had a queen and a single. Perhaps suited a queen only better, but of course I understand that having the extra bed may be because customer demand requires it. Not a deal breaker. Mattress a little too soft for us, but then some people may like this so not necessarily a bad thing.

We had a very nice disability room and were able to park outside our door under cover. The bottles of water and packet of wafer biscuits were appreciated.

Our room was probably the furthest from the office and we couldn't get wifi. Another disappointment was that we would have liked to stay here on our way back from Mount Isa but they were fully booked for our dates.

Loved how they used the charm of the older buildings and made the decor compliment and freshen the rooms up. The beds are so comfortable and you feel so refreshed after a stay over.

I'm really reaching here but maybe if they had located parking for someone that is traveling with a trailer that would an absolute winner. They have the space but it is unfortunately signed with an no stop sign.

The little touches within the room turned the "just a bed" for the night into an absolute treat. The room presentation was incredible. It was a joy to discover the little things - a variety of pillows thicknesses to choose from, the flowers on the quality towels, extra decorations within the room, the packet of chocolate wafer biscuits in the fridge, etc. By no means was this "just a motel room", this was more like a "resort stay".

I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a small town motel, as I’ve stayed in other places that were below average, but this Motel had such a sweet, yet quaint charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the unique decorative features, plus the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again when we’re back in CT. Shelley the receptionist was also a gem.

Location was nice and quiet and handy to everything we needed or wanted to see and do. Local market being on across the road was a bonus.

A little disappointed an apology wasn't offered from office staff who were a half hour late for check in especially when there were four lots of guests waiting. We understand things happen however costs nothing to apologise. Rooms a little small but had all we needed.

The location was great, close to town n easy access to the main road.

The shower n toilet could use with an uplift considering the price. I was dissapointed with the extra surcharge. The toilet door came off the track n to use the kettle was hopeless as the cord on the kettle wasn't long enough to put into any power point..we had to use a towel to balance the kettle on while it boiled..not a safe practice.
