It’s a nice little country motor inn - clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Comfy bed, good shower. The owners/staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the motor inn’s restaurant Red Hide Bar & Grill (Tue-Sat from 6pm), wow what a lovely restaurant in such a small town! It had a lovely vibe, cosy & classy - white linen tablecloths, pretty tea lights on each table. Excellent menu, quality dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Beer & wine per glass very good price, highly recommended. For a Tuesday evening, it was quite busy, probably best to book a table.

Curtains are not block out, bring an eye mask if it bothers you!

As soon as we arrived to check in we were greeted by Victor and Rita at reception, they were both very friendly and welcoming. Later that evening we went for dinner at the Motor Inn’s restaurant. Again, Victor and Rita were serving us and just as friendly, hospitable and professional as they’d been at check in earlier that day. Not to mention the food was absolutely beautiful, I had steak and my girlfriend had salmon, both perfectly cooked. Overall a flawless experience!

Honestly, there’s nothing I could fault about our stay.

You can tell when people make an effort.. even putting the coax and power lead for the TV in a conduit to look neat. A little bit of greenery in the garden goes a long way. Having an excellent restaurant on-site just makes it all better. Thanks.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I understand it's a bother, especially when left on. The rooms really need it.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to shops & hotels. I didn't use the onsite resturant but the smells coming from the kitchen were very inticing. Weather conditions were extremely hot and I can attest that the air conditioning worked perfectly.

Nothing particularly. The facility appears well maintained for its age and very convenient.

It was tucked away from the noisy highway. It had car parks in front of your room and was all undercover, so if it was raining, you could unpack your car without getting all your stuff wet. The restaurant attached had a lot of great choices. On arrival, my original room had a leaking tap and toilet. They changed rooms for me straight away no problems. Very accommodating for my Assistance Dog. Thank you

Everything we needed for a night stopover on our travels and after the drive from Charters Towers to Clermont we needed a rest and we were given that. The place was quiet and we had options within reach for food etc.

Couldn't fit the car undercover due to having a roof rack and luggage which made parking a challenge.

Convenient, balcony smoking to room. Nice view considering.

The dinner menu options were good but I should have been more specific when ordering, I guess. My order with no mushroom also excluded pancetta and parmesan from the menu item that I was looking forward to with my steak . Disappointing, but great steak. Also put the jus/gravy as a side in gravy boat to add when eating, especially for room delivery. It tasted great though. See pic. All service staff were great.

I like everything about the hotel. Their location is the best, the cleanliness over the top.

The location and the was the hotel was so clean and quiet 🤫 . The walls are built in a way that you can't hear your neighbors noise.

Our room was reasonably roomy with table and chairs, lounge chairs, microwave, mini fridge and crockery/cutlery. The motel is located within easy walking distance of local hotels for evening meals. Toiletries were provided and there was ample hot water.

No actual parking space allocated to our room (because of how the facilities are configurated) and felt a bit uncomfortable being told to take any available space close to our room. Despite the photos shown on the booking site, the dining room is actually closed for meals, however, room service was available for breakfast.
