I was a bit late for arrival, getting caught by the sunset which forced me to drive slower. Luckily there was personnel so I could check in. Also the breakfast was ok. It had a proper outback resort vibe which I would probably value even more if I wasn't so exhausted from my trip through the Flinders Ranges

The WiFi was really not good. After a long day of travel you just want to chat with some people from back home or check some important information about your trip plans for the next day and being forced to go literally outside and a few 10 meters away from your room to get some signal feels odd even if you're in the middle of nowhere

Peaceful surroundings , everything needed was available for us although no signal for us due to having Aldi network so used the free WiFi at the Tavern

The motel room (upper level) is a little spartan, but comfortable for one seeking to escape the rain after more than a month camping.

All of Leigh Creek, sadly, is looking worse for wear. I understand that following closure of the mine, the entire operation is marginally economic.

This was the second stay. The other being 2 days before. The rooms? Spot on! Close together, which was awesome for our single lady friend travelling with us. And the meal? Bloody ripper! Better than before by quite a bit.

Plenty of room, clean and fit for the purpose. Tavern was great for reasonably priced, tasty and filling meals. It also had a good variety.

Wasn’t entirely fitted out for self catering. Not enough warm blankets and very little insulation! (Was very cold when heaters weren’t running).

the location was great for our holiday. parking outside your door. Meals available at the facility if you wanted. surprised to have a microwave in the room.

the air conditioner was very noisy especially at night but glad to have it to keep room warm. no cleaning service in the 3 nights ok for bed and towels but no equipment for washing teacups and plates etc despite kettle, toaster and microwave in the room.

The location suited our needs after a long driving day. The staff were very helpful and the room met our expectations and was very clean. While a bit old it was freshly painted and provided all we needed and wanted.

The room was a decent size and the staff were very accommodating of our late arrival.

As others have mentioned, the heat pumps are and bit old and noisy so it's hard to have it on overnight when you're sleeping.

Fun bar/restaurant and lodging, small town with lots of charm!! Chef Ryan helped us out with our heating in our room, he was knowledgeable about the surroundings and provided great recommendations to us in our adventures ahead. He's a great Chef and person!! Thank you!!

Location excellent. Walking distance to the pub like restaurant. Food great standard. Service cheerful and even had our drinks carried to the table.

Not the resorts fault because it was off season but this gem is an oasis. More people should visit,this,gem in the desert
