Loves the whole vibe of the accommodation, that’s why I picked it.

We stayed in a range of places on our road trip hand s Dow. This one was the fancier of all of them the only thing that let it down was the shower, the water you got it to the right temp and than it would go cold after a moment or so and it did this throughout the shower didn’t ruin our stay we just marked it down in our conversations we had afterwards is all, would we stay again yes. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and was exactly what we needed for a one night stay. The laundry facilities were good and I was able to get my washing and drying done. The pub across the road was handy for dinner, only two sittings 5.45pm and 7 pm. Make sure you book a table.

William creek has a brilliant ambience. I stayed in a small single worker’s type room with an ensuite. The little desk looked at the very cute white painted corrugated iron building next door. Pub dinners there were the highlight of my 8 day trip in SA.

The experience of William Creek was fantastic for its location the place is great, clean and the staff are friendly hard working young travellers. Top marks people great job. And the flight over the Lake and Painted Hill a lifetime dream so amazing to see.

It ticked all the boxes we were looking for, for an overnight stop out in the middle of nowhere - across the dirt track from the infamous William Creek Pub. Clean, comfortable (king !) bed, quiet, air conditioned,fridge and self contained bathroom with good water supply. Noted they r currently building glamping tents ✔️✔️ The pub had good food, service and staff ✔️✔️

Camel Hut was the best place to stay. Full kitchen and space to move. Was set apart from the main camping ground.

Pub was extremely expensive and crowded.

Our ensuite ‘cabin’ was a good size, clean and comfortable. Perfectly situated a stone’s throw from the quirky, friendly William Creek Hotel.

Nothing to dislike.

Cabins were extremely basic (literally just a bed) but very clean and comfortable. Staff was lovely. There is a good "vibe" around. Bathrooms were clean and good water pressure.

Couldn't keep the window blinds up.

The location was great

The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable mattress ever. It was like the mattress topper had been removed and you were laying on bars

What a place, the true outback with real people, all the Staff at William Creek Hotel were 1st Class. A must visit iconic location.
