Lovely old property converted with a variety if rooms. We were in the main house, thr room had high ceilings, comfortable bed a just about big enough bathroom. Not many plugs for charging, decent WiFi and decent breakfast if cereals and toast. Need to pre book dinner, limited space, ut the pub in the town is really good alternative and only a short drive away. Enjoyed our stay, meeting lovely staff and enjoying the outside space available.

Lovely spot with some quirky country charm. King room very spacious and super comfy bed. Loved walking around the property with a cuppa and exploring the gardens, meet the owners cats and dogs and had some wonderful doggie time in the morning sun. Relaxing time.

Shared bathroom facilities meant I had to get dressed in middle of the night to walk outside across veranda to toilet. I normally would not have minded, but both myself and partner had bad colds so not ideal going outside in the night air.

The Old Convent is a lovely place to stay, with a good breakfast option including barrista coffee that you can order. The bed is comfortable and the room well appointed with a desk to enable you to work if required. Alternatively the space for dinner or the functions area is also available

It would be good to be reminded that you need to book dinner at least 24 hours in advance, or have the weeks menu sent through as part of the confirmation.

The history of the building is great and the people running it are passionate about it. Very friendly as well. The pool is so great on hot days! Had a room with private shower, which was fantastic! It was better than on the pictures

The bed was too soft, but very big. The breakfast was very simple. It's a nice stop along the way to Kalgoorlie. But it's also a workers stop.

I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this fabulous place. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and a good size, and best of all, the meals are absolutely delicous! It's in a great location and there's plenty of parking.

At the property, which is just outside the town, the staff were welcoming and efficient. Our room, which overlooked the garden, was clean, the decoration and linen were pleasing, and the the bed comfortable. We had an ensuite room, but single rooms with shared facilities are available. A continental breakfast was included in the tariff, which was available in a pleasant conservatory type room with large windows and lots of plants. Dinner is available if you book ahead. Unfortunately we were there on a public holiday, and dinner wasn’t available - so make sure you check. However, we ate at the town pub just 3 minutes drive away, and it was delicious. Highly recommended

Could not wish for anything better. the bed was nice and firm but I would have liked a bigger bed because I am very tall, all was well

The rooms were comfortably furnished and clean. The nights were cold and the air-con worked well in each room. We had a chance to meet other guests in the small dining room during breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is 'help yourself' continental which is all we required.

An ensuite would have suited us a little better than shared bathrooms but they were booked out. We had a young woman in the room next to us with a loud phone voice and terrible cough - the soundproofing could be better!

Garden. Interesting conversion of old buildings to motel accommodation. Beautiful wildflowers just outside property, along the road. Convenient location for wildflower trips around Dallwallinu. Good advice from staff as to where to go.

Parking. Large area but dominated by large trucks and other commercial vehicles. Need a designated area for cars.

Charming, old convent beautifully maintained. Our double deluxe room was located in the main house, with a private shower/loo, wifi and TV. Very clean and comfortable.

The corridor inbetween the main rooms in the main house has a very noisy floor. A runner carpet would help. The early shift staff's footsteps up and down the corridor woke us up. Too many fake flowers and flamingos and other animals spoil the authentic look of the old convent and make it look a bit tacky.
