Great location

The fact that for the price we paid for one night, we had to do the dishes, which we always do anyway, or we would be charged and remove our own rubbish. Both would be extra $100 each. Never encountered anything like this before!

The room (walls)was quite differently decorated so we found this quite nice. Its the best shower so far on our trip. It was very clean and the bed was comfy.

I would have liked two pillows. Wifi worked but didn’t connect to the internet. Also the notes about paying extra if you overstayed past checkout and that misuse of linen and towels would come at a cost was a little ‘unwelcome’ in a way. But seeing past this, we had a good time there.

Nice Room, with what you would expect from a motel. No restaurant, cafe or bar so bring your own. A mobile van served coffee across the road in the morning, but the bar they directed us to in the documentation was closed on Thursday which was the night we stayed.

Lack of cafe/foo/bar on site...but can understand there probably wasn't the demand. Would it be too much to provide a continental breakfast pack on demand?

The room was very clean and very well set up. it was a nice comfortable set up. Check in was smooth and easy and staff were knowledgeable efficient and friendly. a great set up and will stay there again when back that way.

I've stayed here a few times, it is always clean and comfortable, I've never had a bad experience with the staff or cleanliness. There aren't many options for accommodation in Hopetoun, but they seem to still work to make sure you are looked after.

I had to air the room out when I got there as the smell from the cleaning products literally made my eyes water it was that overpowering. I think it was the bathroom products, because once I washed the shower down and had the extractor fan on with the front door open, the small subsided. The only other issue was with the laundry, the dryer didn't dry my clothes, even after 2 hours and $4, it just spun them around, there was no heat in the dryer, no matter what setting I used. I ended up taking my clothes to the laundromat down the road next to the car wash, my clothes were dried in under 20 minutes there (fantastic gas dryers there).

That it is very well located walking distance to beautiful beaches and was very good value

Has a skylight which in the morning let a bit to much light as I wanted a sleep in

The check in times saying they are not available after 6. People travel and doesn't mean we can accommodate your time. Really terrible saying no other option after 6.

Great location and excellent amenities, it was the perfect place to dine in also. We loved the architecture of the main building with excellent views of the sea.

No complaints and the staff were all a delight, so friendly and helpful.

Staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of requests we made were dealt with promptly. Staff made us feel welcome ... took time to chat and make sure were had everything we needed.

The rooms were close to each other. Facilities are OK, plenty of dishes and cutlery in the rooms

For some reason, the patrons are asked for the ID and car license plate numbers - although the accommodation was 100% pre-paid. This is percepted as too nosy but may be a local culture custom. No place to eat after 8pm.
