Feels like a FIFO-style accommodation with plenty of hi-vis around, but it’s very well set up. The food was good, the beers were cold, and there’s a great outdoor area near the bar to sit in the sun and unwind. The cabin itself was fine — had a small issue with the aircon, but a quick reset sorted it out. Bed was comfy, and the shower had good pressure. Despite being a busy place, it was surprisingly peaceful and quiet. A good, comfortable stay overall.

I recently stayed at Mia Mia House in the Desert with my colleagues for the Outback Festival, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment I made my booking, everything went smoothly. Luke and the entire staff were absolutely fantastic - so welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The real highlight was the restaurant—simply amazing! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect for relaxing after a day of work! I highly recommend Mia Mia House in the Desert.

When we arrived we were greeted by Sam. Such a lovely man. All the staff were happy and friendly and very helpful. There was a tap leaking in our room and it was very promptly repaired when we notified staff. We had lunch and tea and morning tea there and were very happy and satisfied. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Mia Mia to our family and friends. Keep up the great work 😊😊

The Blue bay signage needs to be more defined as there were always work cars in this bay. It was just for the fact that I have problems with walking and need space to get in and out of the car.

The Admin girls on the Thursday night & on the Friday were totally Amazing, they both really went out of their way to be Polite, Kind & Helpful & Friendly. Totally gave VIP treatment to all their customers..So Refreshing & So worth their weight in gold.!! 😁😁 I was given regular road access reports informing me that the roads south were still closed, & allowed to stay in my room several hours longer...until the roads reopened, which was so appreciated. The Rooms were Lovely & Clean & tastefully furnished. The Bed was Comfortable, & the Linen was Fresh & Clean. The Shower had a good pressurized hotwater supply.

The TV didn't work past wanting you to join Netflix...which was a shame. There were no Teaspoons supplied for making your Tea or Coffee... But other than those 2 small things.... This place was pretty amazing 😁👍

Suited an overnight stay well. We really enjoyed dinner in the Mia Mia Restaurant. The room is very compact but works well … thoughtfully designed. Comfortable bed and an efficient shower.

Confusing parking and initial access to the unit. The receptionist showed us a map but could have given a few extra instructions eg exactly where the gates are located and how to open them. Having a copy of the map would have helpful to us. The exterior of the gates should be clearly marked.

Convenient and safe location for an overnight stay. Welcoming and friendly staff, fast and easy check-in. Well appointed if you don't want to go to town - Great little coffee corner with everything from sweet to savory... coffee is really good. Alternatively the is also a restaurent onsite.

Parking is usually really busy by the end of the day

super clean and extremely friendly staff, felt very welcome and very refreshed for my second day on the road when I left. The room exceeded all my expectations. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in.... i didn't know a donga could look that good and clean!! Loved that the cafe opened so early, very useful (and delcious food and coffee) I will be staying here again and recommending to friends. Thank you very very much!

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet It was just a bit small. The mini fridge really didn't fit much of our esky contects. The gym was good. The coffee from the cafe was excellent. Ans the Food from from the restaurant was also really good.

It's pretty expensive for what you get but I think everything in this part of Australia is expnsive.

Nice central location, easy access, good facilities. Rooms well present, neat and tidy

Would have been nice if the immediate neighbour had not thought he needed to slam the door closed when departing at 4am. Maybe a sign on the door to push them closed or lean on them to close would have been handy (although no guarantee to correct)

Location great. Price reasonable compared with others. Good restaurant. Comfortable room.

Room was small but manageable. Would have liked secure parking close to accommodation but design of the complex precludes this. Nuisance value.
