The view from our lakeside room was amazing. The setting was beautiful, watching the sunrise over the trees and lake - very serene. We loved renting the kayaks and Ches was so friendly and helpful telling us where to explore, thank you! We also loved seeing her again at the animal farm and she did a wonderful job telling us all about the animals. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the lakeside restaurant taking in the incredible views, our food was delicious too! The service we received from Rose was delightful, she was ever so welcoming and helped us pick the best things on the menu. We really had a wonderful stay, your setting and your staff are amazing!

Cabin 4 nice views of lake, worst 4 days of rain but having wood fire kept us nice and cozy after our walks, archery kayaking great fun, Beedalup falls never seen it flow like that, was amazing. Lunch menu fabulous- steak sandwiches mouth watering

Wood was t refilled on our last day - not a lot of kindling to get fire started, previous visits have had axe and could do this ourselves. When we asked this is now a safety thing and no longer supplied was told kindling would be dropped off but it never came. Could only get one ring to work on stove

Amazing place for a relaxing stay, even with the rain you can light a fire and enjoy family time and take it the view.

1. Archery gear is old and broken, making it hard to learn for younger children. 2. This was my third 4 day visit to Karri Valley, and I have yet to catch a fish or even get one bite, morning, noon, or night. Nor have I ever met anyone who has while talking with other visitors. I think it’s a scam. 3. Food at the Lodge leaves much to be desired and very limited, and boring menu considering the local produce available.

Room was on lake with a fabulous view. Loved the spacious bathroom toilet area.

Room Service was terrible. Your room is cleaned between 3.00 & 5.00pm pretty much when you're wanting to refresh for dinner and relax after a day out. It is carpet so floor gets very messy given no vacuuming only change of linen & bed poorly made. I ended up opting to do my own. Given the cost you are looking forward to a little spoiling as that is included in price. Dirty linen was left on verandahs for a day & night in one instance.

We loved everything from the location to the accommodation and all the activities around the lake. It was the perfect get away for a short trip away from Perth. Booked at short notice it has exceeded all expectations. The place is run by the most plesent people and it was clear to see. They could not do enough for us and always happy to help. The 3 kids rated this place a 10 out of 10 on the second day when I asked them while having dinner at the lakeside restaurant. Amazing is what this place is and it is a credit to everyone working and involved with the running of this place. Thank you

This has nothing to do with the place but how I see things. Bear that in mind. No matter how good or amazing a place is there is always room for improvement. I would love to build them a deck off the restaurant with hand rail all around so it could cater for outside drinks during the summer month. Maybe even an outside bar. It would extend from the restaurant and finish off the area beautifully.

The entire resort was beautiful. The view from the lakeside room was unbelievable every morning and we absolutely enjoyed all the amenities in the resort.

The furnishings were run down. maybe some updates on the furnishings could’ve improved the experience given the price per night. The patio has a beautiful view then you have a dusty cheap table and chairs. Carpet need an update too. No lock on bathroom door.

The location is great in amongst the trees and close to Beedelup Falls. Walking trail round the lake. Room was good although a little tired in terms of decoration and maintenance. Fridge and microwave included and balcony overlooking the lake. Great to eat outside and watch the birds at dusk. Activities were pretty good and reasonably priced. Seeing the birds so close (literally on the balcony whilst sitting out) was amazing.

Minor issues really - limited choice at restaurant; drain cover in shower broken, toilet difficult to flush - but generally all very good.

Rooms in the lake are gorgeous, view is stunning to wake up to. Very clean and comfortable. Great little kitchen/bathroom set up. Lots of activities to do with the kids. Food in restaurant is excellent.

Couldn’t get a booking at the restaurant until 8pm on our first night. Got lots of messages before arriving about check-in etc should advise guests to book before arriving.

Location superb. Room clean with stunning view. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The drive there was also stunning. (People should note it's quite far to any other restaurant etc.)

The balcony should have been cleaned. It was covered with duck poo so we didn't use it. Not a major complaint but a note - strange in a room with such a beautiful view that the bed face the television, not the window. Would have changed the feel completely to be able to sit in bed and look at the view. Also odd the restaurant lights were so bright. Also made the view difficult to see once it got dark.

We loved everything about Kari valley lodge. The area is so peaceful, the beds are so comfortable, and we enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant which overlooks the lake. If you are after a relaxing getaway this is the location. The lake is simply stunning with the forest surrounding it. This is a family friendly resort. I hope to visit Kari valley lodge when I’m next in W.A.
