The staff members provided excellent service and assistance. The location, which is situated on a hill, offers a distinct advantage. The view from the rooms, overlooking the valley, is truly beautiful. Furthermore, the environment is notably tranquil. The culinary offerings were of exceptional quality. The facilities are plentiful and well-maintained. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are especially attractive. For golfers, there is a wonderful golf course that wraps around the hill. Hiking and 3D archery are great activities in the vicinity.

The hotel is set in a stunning landscape, offering breathtaking views of the mountains or picturesque villages wherever you look. The hotel rooms are newly furnished and very well maintained. The outdoor pool is absolutely amazing. Dinner was excellent.

Upon arrival, no one offered to help us with our luggage. The hotel Wi-Fi is very slow. In the spa area, even when no one is there, the loungers are occupied all day with towels—staff could remove them and make the loungers available to guests. The beds have extremely soft mattresses, which are not ideal for sleeping.

Most of all, I liked very kind, hospital and attentive team of the hotel. It is clear that there is very good management and they take care regarding their employees. The food is excellent, the breakfast is one of the best, which I ever had. The products are high quality and you can feel it. The dinner is also excellent, the service, everything.

Nothing, we liked everything

The room was very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, the beds were comfy, there was a coffees machine and water boiler with an assortment of tea and coffee. The restaurant had delicious food. Breakfast was plenty. Spa, swimming pool and gym were clean and very nice. Very kind with dogs, the room was prepared for the four-legged guest, too. We appreciated it very much.

Unfortunately some guests' kids sneezed on the coffee/tea table in the breakfast room, so even in a nice hotel, you're not save from impolite hotel guests.

The view from the hotel and the nice castle-like feeling is a unique experience. Breakfast was amazing and the choice of food was very vast, from healthy muesli, smoothies, fruits etc. to heavier type of food like cakes, sausages, etc. The spa area is very good but for the amount of rooms I would have expected something bigger (more jacuzzies and pools)

Some small part of the furniture in our room was a bit worn-out and there were some little cracks in the toilet. The staff was very nice and friendly but some younger ones showed some uptightness which I am sure can be solved with more experience. I would also recommend proactively offering the guests excursion (or other actvities) ideas or make sure they are promptly shown upon arrival in a brochure.

1. Beautiful hotel, we were astonished by surrounding mountains. Cozy atmosphere, just as I imagined it. 2. The best breakfast I've had in a long time, local products, amazing choices. 3. Perfect half-pension included, big thank you to the waiters, who were really nice to us and our messy little girl. 4. We got room upgrade, which was really nice touch. Comfy, big room.

Here are some minor things, I'm just pointing them out since it is a 5* hotel: 1. Temperature in the outdoor pool could be 2-3°C more, as it is too cold for relaxing in the winter, suitable only for swimming. 2. I would appreciate a bit "fancier" bathroom amenities, I missed f.e. hand cream.

We spent 3 glorious days in this former castle in the Alps, a perfect spot for golfing and wellness. Every area of the resort was stunning and incredibly clean. The golf course was beautiful, well kept and very hilly :) Check-in was easy and quick. We were upgraded to a junior suite w/balcony on the top floor with a view of the valley and Grimm mountain. The suite was spacious and appealing, with 2 balconies, a luxurious bathroom and separate W/C, loads of storage, a beautiful king size bed, a large flat screen TV, and a comfortable seating area. The bed was firm, with large goose-down pillows, smaller firmer pillows, and thick winter comforters. The marble bathroom was large and well appointed, with a bidet and heated towel rack, and a massive marble bathtub shower that delivered strong water pressure and immediate hot water. Breakfast was in a beautiful morning room with many large windows and doors leading to an outdoor seating area, and offered a full breakfast buffet with a large variety of hot and cold items, warm items made to order, and fresh pressed juices. As we had booked the half pension, every night we had dinner in the beautiful Zirbe room, where we enjoyed the nightly offerings, wide variety of wines, and generous treatment by the staff. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the sauna, which were beautiful and functional, with many seating areas. Most importantly the hotel had the nicest and most amazing staff! Nothing! Although we visited during a slow period and reveled in the peace and quiet :)

Breakfast and Spa

Check-in process - very old school, we had to wait quite some time until, we received cards from our room and even though we did the check in online in the booking app, we had to fill out everything again upon our arrival.

My girlfriend and I were doing a tour of Austria and we wanted a calm place to simply switch off and relax. Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn was an excellent choice. We actually liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. We chose the breakfast and dinner option. I have to say that the price was more than fair for Austria during the peak summer season. The entire experience was incredible. The hotel had organized transport for us from the train station. The staff was really polite (especially Patrick). Everything was really clean and the view from the winter garden is incredible. There are a lot of visitors who go there to play golf, but there are a lot of other experiences to be had. We went on a day trip to Hallstatt. It is just 45 minutes by train. You can also do day trips to other lakes. Much better than going from Salzburg. It was really an incredible experience that I will remember for a very long time. I highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to go on a quest and visit the local chicken farm. There is an automated store where you can buy local delicacies from the farmers!

Not much. The quality you get is fantastic for the price. Similar places in Austria were double the price. I hope to visit again soon. The only "negative" I could think of would be the balconies. I think they can be slightly modernized with some nicer furniture to lounge in order to enjoy the incredible views. Also, during the next bathroom renovation, just remove the bathtubs and put showers. It makes things so much easier. Otherwise 10/10!
