There are quite a few pluses: * Excellent location, just a few minutes to the autobahn but far enough for a complete silence. Near the lake as well. * Beautiful views * Very flexible, loved the self-check in, even when we arrived much later than planned * The beds are amazing, we slept like children * The parking is very big, so there are no problems with parking * WiFi was very strong

You don't quite know which room you'll get. The beds are very solid, though having two bunk beds In a room for three people can be intimidating for some. Not quite a minus, but the owners have a big dog so if you're allergic take the meds ;)

A great place, we will be back! Comfy, clean room. Superb breakfast and service, really nice casual/modern style with ability to store own food in fridge and buy beverages on site. The hotel dog is so lovely and friendly and well-behaved, for people who have complained about this they are clearly not dog people and should understand that first of all the place is a Home for this beautiful animal ❤️ My husband and I travel frequently and this is somehere to feel relaxed and welcomed.

The TV in the room didn't have channels or ability to connect to phone so could do with modernization but apart from that all was good.

We had a two-day stop here on our way to Italy. Easy check-in at any time. The big Bernardino dog greeted us and was very friendly to our dog. The atmosphere in the house was more one of a family than a hotel. For example, we were allowed to use the kitchen to warm up our food or we were allowed to use the trampoline of the kids in the garden. That was really nice. The friendly owner gave us super nice kids-appropriate tips for our daily trip and even a free two-hour entry to the Spa close by. Apparently, it's a present of the town to all tourists who sleep in this area.

The location at the street. Cars here drive quite fast. The room was small, and the washing and drying machines right next to the room were loud during the day. The dog did his needs twice in the big common breakfast room.

Great Value! great room. greatbuilding. in fantastic location. Both bucolic setting and access to Triglav (for me) and local lakes and trails right from the parking lot. Great/ knowledgable touring advice. great b-fast - the standard meat cheese veggies fruit bread cereals all fresh and eggs cooked to order. served with panorama glass view of setting. Books, toys. Great Value. etc.

Dont let the worn carpet on the stairs fool you. i did slept in center bed for best comfort.

Although we stayed only one night, it was great to be here. We came later then expected, but were welcomed by the friendly dog and the keys were ready waiting for us on the desk. The room was large, clean and great for our family and the next morning a nice breakfast was waiting for us, after which the kids enjoyed playing in the snow in the garden while we had another coffee sitting at the wood stove.

Loved the friendly, homey vibes, great breakfast, everything was super clean. The bed was very comfortable (although the pillow is a bit soft for my taste :D). Great that it's pet friendly, loved the owner's super sweet and well trained dog. It's 15 min by car from the main skiing station (Kanzelbahn) in Gerlitzen. Parking right in front of the house.

There is nothing not to like :)

Our stay was very pleasant. We arrived very late and the key with the room number was waiting for us. So that made our check in very easy, especially because we travelled with a 2 y.o. In the morning we had breakfast and the owner served us delicious scrambled eggs that he prepares himself for all the guests. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. I would definitely stay there again!

Bergbude Great place to stay if you are traveling through! The key is ready and you can check yourself in. The rooms are outdated, but if you are looking for a bed and shower after a long day of driving, this is more than good. The breakfast is good, nice that this is included. Various choices in sandwiches / yogurt / granola / fruit. Simple but you don't need more. They even ask you how you prefer to eat your egg (boiled, fried or scrambled). The environment looks great. Owner is very relaxed and there is a casual atmosphere.

How wonderful! We spent 5 days and had a great time! The owner is truly very, very kind and recommended so many beautiful places for us to explore (it's always amazing when a local gives you valuable advice!). Comfortable room, varied and good breakfast. We hope to come back in the summer! Thanks again for everything.
