The location, calm atmosphere and overall design of the hotel. We have been provided cute little bath rope and slippers for our 4 year old daughter which was an amazing gesture.

When you do your reservation over booking platform, the hotel places an authorization hold on your card and during check out instead of executing it, they charge you separately and they do not release the authorization hold on your card even after your stay. You just have to wait for it to expire after 10 days. This is ridiculous; you have to have to hold 2x amount of funds on your spending account in order to stay here for reservations made through booking.

The breakfast was good, with lots of options. The spa was excellent, especially the peels. The pool was a bit on the cool side but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a suite that was very comfortable and nice. The only strange element was the ceiling above the bed, which looked out of place and did not match the quality of the rest of the room.

Absolutely beautiful hotel on picturesque grounds! Our apartment was on 2 floors - first floor had add'l toilet, small kitchen area & large sitting area looking out onto balcony. Upstairs was nice sized bedroom area with large bathroom. Very comfortable bed! Eating outdoors in evening on restaurant patio was wonderful. Nice wellness area though didn't use the pool, but the outdoor swimming hole was very beautiful with plenty of chairs & towels. Plentiful breakfast. Great hiking & biking trails nearby. Wonderful stay!

More personnel needed at breakfast; bit slow.

this is such a lovely hotel and we are very happy we found it and for sure we will return! room is spacious and bathroom is perfect as well. safe included. many pillows to choose from. lovely windows. excellent dinner and afternoon snack (one of the best beef tartares we ever had). lovely spa area. staff very professional and polite and helpful. we really liked the garden area, so pretty! Really cute idea with the goodbye package.

Really just some small things to remark: Breakfast is included in the price but to be honest it left us a bit unimpressed. Basic muesli was out and buffet is very small. I felt that the neighbor table (which was a big family table) received far more attention from the personal than we did. My partner was somewhat bothered by the flies in the restaurant (maybe a fly trap would be great)

Lovely hotel which was immaculately clean and the gardens were beautiful. The staff were extra helpful and made you feel very welcome. The food was delicious and the service first class.

one little request: it would be lovely to have a kettle in the room for a nice cup of tea or coffee.
