This is the sixth time I have chosen this hotel to spend my summer vacation, the previous visits being 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024. Every time I choose the room with a view of the glacier. It is a hotel that offers great comfort, excellent staff, varied cuisine. Staring to 2024, the spa area is dreamy.

I wanted the balcony of room 67 to have flowers, a common thing in Tirol. Many other balconies have them, I don't understand why it's so expensive to put a flower pot. At the restaurant several times beef was served, for example stew. I was surprised to find that the meat is very tough, barely chewable. Or is it a problem with the oven or with the the chef. I must say that all the other breakfast and dinner offerings are extraordinary.

Lovely place, very clean and well maintained, very good food and a wonderful spa area.

The bar/pub trance music, which should have been great for a disco but not a bar/pub. The bartender was rather grumpy and not really a pleasure to be around at the bar.

I stayed 7 days in room 67. Large, clean room, bathroom equipped with all facilities. I appreciated the team at the restaurant, the exceptional position of the hotel (room with view to the glacier) and the new look of the swimming pool with the furniture and facilities offered (sauna, wellness).

I don't understand why only the rooms of the old building overlooking the glacier don't have flowers on the balconies, a special feature of Tirol. Before the pandemic, they existed, but then they disappeared.

Staff in the Restaurant is excellent!

We had to change our room (106) due to noise from the SPA machinery. The next morning went to reception and the blond lady from Slovakia was very helpful, she moved us to the 3rd floor. Restaurant Staff is professional and polite. Breakfast is really nice, dinner is 'much ado about nothing'. At check out @ 10am we had a wrong charge on our bill, which had to be removed. The receptionist lady (brown hair working there just 5 months) said she will not take it off, wont call her colleague on her off day, so we should wait until 2pm when afternoon shift arrives. Which was ridiculous. I asked to call her supervisor which she did, and the manager was very professional and smoothened things out for us.

1. We asked during booking a room in a new part of hotel, this request was based on reading Booking.com reviews! They just ignored our request and, gave a terrible room with a broken shower and toilet, clogged sink. After we presented all problems, they replaced room for a better one, but all was done during dinner. Regarding our request of new part of hotel, they told us that not give this option when order via Booking.com ???!!!

It's an amazing hotel and a great value for money if you add up all services it provides: - The food was delicious and pre-dinner meals were super helpful so you don't have to starve until dinner after skiing all day. - The spa facilities are top notch and the swimming pool is just the right temperature to swim in - I was a bit worried it would be too warm because of the hotel name. Keep in mind when reading some old negative reviews that the spa area was renovated. The location is so good you can literally ski to the hotel (the route is called "1", don't mistake it with "1a" which will take you back to the cable cars. Also bear in mind it's not an easy route). - Super helpful staff, huge ski-room, bus station around the corner.

None of those are critical for me but still worth mentioning to other fellow travellers: - I kinda wish real porridge was available in the morning and not just cereals. - The hotel isn't perfectly sound-proof so you will hear your neighbours if they're loud ones as well as you will likely hear noises from the street if you window/balcony is facing it.

the place was 5 star , lovely room , food was great , cant complain about breakfast , a great place to stay for an holiday , free bus pass to visit local villages ( we arrived late to the hotel and ask if the dinner was still been served , he said sorry we are closed , but i can make you a buffet up a meal , we said thank you , when it came wow loads of meats cheese , bread , pickles ect ect all i have to say made you welcome from day 1 to the last day

Wellness/Spa facilities are brand new and fantastic. 5 star level. Views from spa and dining room are excellent. Location is superb. Dining & bar staff very efficient & friendly & smartly attired. Bar very cosy & traditionally welcoming. Afternoon snack & cakes in bar being included was an extra bonus, which we had not expected. Fantastic & huge heated boot room. Discounts with local ski hire shop was good as well.

The room was old fashioned ( half hotel renovated/ half is 1970s style). This is compensated by the spa. These older rooms could be a bit smarter without renovating fully eg. Door handle of wardrobe came off, curtains & chairs old. Balcony was big but another room & corridor could access it - could relatively easily divide that to make “ private”. But the room was a good size & clean. Main entrance welcoming but could be modernized & seating areas on open elements of the old building floors ( eg new cushions) could quickly improve it. Could offer a mini bus to ski lift ( perhaps do in main season?)

Our room was described as a "whole apartment", but there were no kitchen facilities, so it was really a suite, but a very spacious one. The toilet was separate from the bathtub and sink. The floor was not carpeted. The fitness room and indoor swimming pool are both excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the dinner food was fairly standard and certainly sufficient, and the wine list was very good. The service in the bar and dining room was excellent.

The bed and pillows were insufficiently comfortable for one of us. Although it appears that many of the hotel rooms could have lovely views, the view from our room was abysmal, mostly blocked, of other parts of the hotel and the parking lot. Neither of the small flat screen tvs in the suite was "smart". There were no hooks on the wall near the door for hanging wet jackets.

Friendly staff, convenient location close to glacier, newly renovated wellness centre, nice restaurant and good food, good starting point for walks. We stayed in a room in the annex, which was clean, traditional style and recently renovated.

The view from the room in the annex was not inspiring, on the road and car park. Some rooms at the front of the hotel have glacier view, which may be spectacular.
