Charming, family style hotel with an excellent staff. The ski bus stops in front of the hotel. There is ample parking. The rooms are simple and classic Tyrol style. The hotel has a heated drying room for ski equipment in the basement. The hotel has a warm feeling and is filled with books that visitors can read and take if they leave another. The restaurant is large, yet warm with the traditional Tyrollean style wood decor. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the dinner menu did not disappoint. We opted to get dinner in the hotel restaurant most evenings. Half-board is an option.
Like many European hotels, the double bed/matrimonial bed (queen) is really two single beds put together. Would be nice for couples to have the option of a sheet or insert to cover the gap between the two beds.

We were treated like special guests by all of the kind and friendly staff, who really go out of their way to make sure you are fine. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The room was perfect: beautiful wood interiors, very comfortable bed (very), space for taking off wet ski clothes, even a little balcony - and, of course, the mountains are just outside your window. The fact that the skibus (free) stops in front of the hotel was a big bonus - and there is also plenty of parking.
We liked everything, but a suggestion would be the addition of USB and USB-C charging points in the rooms.

It was a great pleasure to stay in hotel Standlhof founded by the old George Ebenharter-Putz and now run by his descendants. This hotel breathed hospitality in every detail of our stay. Books are everywhere, even in the sauna and in the hallways which gives the hotel a homy atmosphere. There is also a nice library type family room where you will find drinks, games and again a lot of books. Large maps of the skiing area are on the wall, which is comfortable and your clothes are being dried after a day of skiing. Staff is super friendly and willing to go out of their way to answer all your questions. Breakfast buffet is elaborate with homemade cakes and marmelades. Also you can pack your own lunch if you like to bring some into the mountains. The diner menu is typical Austrian with a variety of food, enough for the week. Fantastic place!

If you love mountains and travel by car, this hotel is an ideal place to stay in Austria! The hotel is located in a picturesque location in the mountains, away from noisy highways. Walking around the hotel's surroundings is a great pleasure. The hotel is easy to find, very convenient location, easy access and ample parking. The hotel has an elevator. Friendly and courteous staff. The room was spacious, equipped with everything necessary. Very clean, good furniture, wonderful bathroom. Bed linen and towels are new and clean. Good Wi-Fi. A magnificent breakfast made from farm products exceeded all expectations!

The hotel is located in a beautiful village and it's quite close to the amazing lakes. There's a tiny train station that looks like it came from Miyazaki's movies (especially in the evening or when the steam train comes). The hotel itself is very nice and comfy and the restaurant is making delicious food. The breakfast was a good surprise as well, not only because of the quality, but all the ingredients were from the surrounding villages and i had a good chance to get know what's produced there and how good it is. I ended up asking the owners where to buy some of delicatessen and then riding to the next village to get some as a gift for my friends and myself :)

This a family-run hotel where you can experience true hospitality, with a touch of humour. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and there are different common areas for reading, socialising or just relaxing. Rooms are functional with balconies overlooking the stunning mountain scenery. I slept very well on the comfortable mattress. The breakfast is the highlight, with a wide variety of local produce.

The Hotel felt like a big family home, very warm and inviting, and is in a beautiful area. The owners Tom & Andrea, were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Tom provided a wonderful overview of the area and information on hikes and attractions. The restaurant was fabulous and the staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. It was so lovely, we stayed a 2nd day, and would have stayed longer if time had permitted.

Very nice and helpful staff who know everything about the area and provide excellent suggestions for places to visit and things to do. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the train station, supermarket, and the mountains. The room was clean with a nice view of the mountains, and the breakfast was very good. Moreover, they are very committed to sustainability and the environment, which is highly commendable.
The Wi-Fi in my room was very weak, almost disconnected, but it worked well in the restaurant. For me, it was not a big deal because I was there to be closer to nature and disconnect from social media. However, for those who NEED to have access to a good internet connection, it could be seen as a negative aspect.

Great staff, very helpful. Nice sauna / spa area - not to big but very functional. You can ski actually on the day you leave and can than have a shower in the afternoon - I found that a extemelly nice option. Good breakfast and decent restaurant.

Big rooms with big beds and sufficient amenities. Breakfast outstanding indeed - with some locally made speck and other stuff. A welcome schnaps from the alpine pine makes you feel good right from the beginning of your stay.
You're not allowed to choose a table during breakfast (maybe it's obvious in town, or necessary to organize guests like that, but was actually quite surprising). Not a big deal, though, when in Rome do as the Romans do ;-)
