Back in 1983 we took my mother on a coach holiday and stayed in this hotel, which then was run by the grandmother of the present owner. At that time we found it a superb place to stay. Many years later we found ourselves in Westendorf again and booked into this hotel again, only to find that it was run by the mother of the present owner. Again, a superb hotel. This time we found the owner welcoming above the norm and extremely friendly, and the hotel beautifully maintained, clean and comfortable. As for the breakfast.... The best we have ever had.

There was nothing at all not to like about this hotel and I would recommend a stay here to anyone. Just one suggestion to make... Perhaps a kettle or coffee making facilities in the room would be good to have.

Hotel Garni is a great place to stay, its a family run business and very enthusiastically so. Veronica and her son Max are the people you see every day and it would be hard to imagine more helpful enthusiastic people, Veronica's husband also collected us from the train station as a favour because we were stuck and it was cold! Nice man. Great ski locker, great boot locker and the location is absolutely central to everything, couple of hundred meters max gets you everything, ski lift, shop, restaurant and ski buses.

There is very little I could say was less than perfect with the Hotel Garni to be quite honest.

Everything was perfect: clean room, tasty breakfasts (pefect coffee:) ). Hotel is situated in a very peaceful and silent area. Everything what you need is close (shops, restaurants, pools, amazing lake). The view that we had from the balcony was amazing. Price per night is very good. And now the best part of our stay: The Owners of the hotel are the kindest people in the world, smiley, helpful and talkative. We felt very good in this place and recommend everyone to choose it. We hope to come back soon.

Great central location in the village, everything we needed less than 5 mins walk away. Staff very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. The breakfasts were fabulous.

When in our room in early evening we were sometimes disturbed for short periods of time by noise from other guests returning to their rooms. This was purely caused I think by a seeming poor sound insulation within the part of the building we stayed, the slightest noise like other guests talking in the corridors or opening their room doors just seemed to reverberate. Was also surprised that their were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although having mentioned this to them, they immediately provided us with kettle and cups. Other than these things, its a great place to stay.

Room is nice and kept clean everyday. Balcony is also the thing that I really enjoyed. Nice and handy breakfast to get you going in the morning. Staff is polite and friendly, always intending to help you. The closest lift that connects to the other parts of SkiWelt is about 3 minute walk. Ski storage is in the hotel. Definetely worth the money, no doubt.

Excellent accommodation within walking distance of the first chairlift. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful village where there are many restaurants and shops. Incredibly pleasant and friendly owners who go out of their way to accommodate your every wish. Accommodation nice and clean, great breakfast. I recommend it to everyone.

Room had a fantastic view with a balcony, beds were really comfortable, lots of storage space with lots of clothes hangers, great shower and it even had a small kitchen with everything you need. Veronica and Max made us feel so welcome, always smiling. The breakfast was fantastic, great food, great background music, a great start to the day.

I wish they did half board…. We’d probably never leave the place

Right in the centre of Westendorf. Fabulously friendly and helpful family run business. Breakfast was delicious. Enough bread and cold cuts but also we had scrambled eggs with a bacon on top. Plenty of food and options. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Loved it.

Nothing to complain about.

Very welcoming. Each morning a generous breakfast was served with great hospitality. The owners are gracious and very kind. The location is perfect and close to amenities.

The hotel was exactly as advertised, but the staff were exceptional. Super friendly in every aspect, breakfast was good but the service was better.
