- location (in the mountains where it is peaceful and quiet) - restaraunt food was pretty good, breakfast was basic but they did have lots of different options to chose from - Staff spoke good English, which was useful for me (non-Azeri speaker) - When we entered the room we received complimentary fruit basket, which was really nice - Our room was with the view of the mountains and we loved looking at mountains and hearing sheep/cows/roosters. Some might dislike animal sounds but me, wife and a baby were HUGE fans of it. - Chill/ambient vibe. Hotel atmosphere gives very chill/relaxing vibe.

- My room had spider nets in some corners and also in the closet here were wires sticking out. Not a big deal but something to improve for sure - Carpet in my room had an old stain on it. Not a big deal but not a "5 star" feel, that is for sure - The closet smelled like someone smoked there a day or two before we came. Our room was fine and we kept the closet closed and did not put any of our things there. I am not sure if the previous person who stayed was a "smoker" and left their clothes there and that is why closet smelled like that but yeah, we did not use the closet at all.

It's was a very good cozy hotel located in a very beautiful place! Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable, ready to help with any question. The room was big with a magnificent view to the mountains. The hotel has its own restaurant with amazing local food prepared from fresh high-quality ingredients. I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and client-oriented. They accommodated our early check-in request, brought complimentary fruits to our room, and were always ready to assist with any needs. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a dedicated working area and a coffee machine, which I greatly appreciated. It was spotless, and the towels and bathrobes were replaced promptly, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

Location is perfect if you have a car. You can get everything you need in hotel or drive to Qax town. Our room had a great view to mountains and perfect stars sky at night. room service is very good, as well as massage and baths we used I am grateful for Tale (manager) who was very proactive and helpful

Only the quality of outdoor restaurant's (Novbahar) service once (it happened just once) bothered. This restaurant's staff could be more thoughtful while serving. As it happened once we considered it just happening. Everything else was excellent.

The balcony and view.

The bowling was too loud and noisy. You can hear it from the rooms, and made it very hard to nap/sleep in the afternoon and night time since it ran past 11 pm. Bowling should be moved to where the gym is.

Personal, location, service level. all was exceptional. not because of average hotel service level in Azerbaijan is poor. but because of real service was absolutely perfect. good breakfast, best location in whole region I’m sure.

Lovely hotel and staff. Everything was nice. Breakfast is offered with a wide variety of food. It was enjoyable. The room was clean with the essentials. Affordable price, excellent location. Breath-taking veiw from balcony. We enjoyed fresh air and a beautiful view.

Wooooooooooooow. Really wow. Just amazing in every respect and every detail. This is the second time we visit this awesome hotel and the first to be in Winter time. My family and I were delightfully surprised by the snowy atmosphere during our stay this time celebrating the colorful and fascinating Novruz holiday here in the north-west of Azerbaijan. The presence of snow with hights snow height reaching one meter and above in some spots added another element of enjoyment to our stay. The fact that the hotel is built on a huge area of land comprising soccer, basketball and tennis fields and courts, a huge terrace, wonderful indoor swimming pool and SPA facilities (free of charge for hotel guests), bowling alley with four lanes, cinema, indoor sports such as billiard, table tennis, Foosball, etc makes you feel you don't want to leave the hotel for touring or other activities. We stayed two wonderful nights and plenty of action-filled vacation to the point all of us were literally crying when we had to leave on our third nights. We can stay a month or more here and never feel bored or wanting to leave; it's just a piece of heaven on mother earth. A word of thank is absolutely due to the wonderful and ever-smiling staff of the hotel without exception. Special thanks to the gentleman in the front desk, sorry I didn't remember his name as I wrote this review, but he is the one reception staff who speaks very good English. I had the pleasure to chat with him several times during our stay. Also I would like to thank him for offering me and my family free, wonderfully tasty sweats special for the Novruz. Last words, if you are in Qax and want to enjoy a wonderful stay, don't think of any other hotel in the area. Qax is also beautiful all year-round so no matter what season you visit, you will definitely enjoy.
