Very nice an quite place in a very authentic and well renovated country house. The hotel is kept in original style very well and you really have the feeling you are inside the original country house.

The constructions on the roads surrounding the hotel made it very hard to reach the place. I understand the hotel is not responsible for it but it made the journey somewhat stresful. Also the the hotel could be cleaned a little better.

This hotel is in the process of refurbishment and is like an old manor house and my comments are in that context. We had originally booked a "comfort room " but it was unsuitable and we weren't prepared to stay in it. After a very helpful conversation with the receptionist, we were then offered two excellent options and she prepared the selected room for us. This changed our opinion of the hotel to 10/10. The hotel is in a very beautiful location. Our upgraded room had the most stunning view, wonderful huge bed and bathroom with all facilities.

Once the refurbishment plan is fully completed, we are sure that high standards will be implemented in rooms throughout the hotel.

The breakfast was fabulous! The evening dinner was terrific. The beds were very comfortable and the scenery and location were great!

The room(economy) was very small for such a high price. The ceiling slanted and numbing your head was routine. There were nails sticking up out of the floor and the floor boards were separating. Very dangerous in bare feet. Asked for further information prior to check in, in English but never received a response(5 days ahead of time). Grounds need a lot of work.

Beautiful residence located in nature with great service! Spacious room, nice neat design and great breakfast! We actually regret that we didn’t have dinner there. At night it was super silent in the room, though it was in front of the stairs. I would really recommend this place if you’d like to stay somewhere far from tourists routes and like nature, silence and good service.

Small minus was that parking area was quite muddy, as there’s no asphalt there, so when we walked to the entrance from there in the dark our shoes got pretty dirty.

Gorgeous hotel located in a historic monument in the middle of nowhere. The surrounding fields, ponds, hills and trails made this stay remarkable. Picturesque private access road made you feel like royalty when checking in ;-)

The room (and the bathroom) itself was a bit dated, but nothing preventing a good night sleep.

We were so lucky to find this property! We had been looking for something near Spa for the Grand Prix and suddenly this cropped up, it was a very reasonable price for what it was and we had the best stay! Will definitely look to stay here again!

Nothing, it was perfect!

Landgoed Altenbroek is beautifully situated in a valley with lush, green hills and deciduous forests. It is a place of peace and quiet and a perfect base to explore the region from. Recommended to anyone looking for a little nature and rest.

Unfortunately during our stay there was a lot of maintenance going on. This made the otherwise perfect location a little less ideal, but it was fantastic all the same. I was told this is a rare occasion as it takes place once every 50 years. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price.

There was some kind of party (I guess) the night that I spent there. The music went on until quite late, which was a bit annoying, but nothing compared how loud and disrespectful some guests were. I guess the age of the hotel didn't help... The noise insulation was really not the best. Maybe some carpets/rugs would help. You can easily follow anyone steps just by eating them walking arou d

Beautiful place that worths visiting. The hotel is beautiful and the food that they prepare is magnificent. The atmosphere was perfect, esp. during the period of Christmas. Nicely decorated, nice music, well maintained facilities.

The rooms need renovation. The bathroom was full of saltwater stains that were not cleaned. The walls of the room I stayed had stains and needed painting.

We were given a double room under the roof, and one side of the bed had a wooden beam over the head. This was very dangerous when standing up.
