Such a lovely, old-fashioned, welcoming and century-old family-run establishment, with its lovely rooms, pretty view over the river, its charming antique furniture and decoration, a great modern and fully equipped elegant-looking bathroom, delicious food in the restaurant, a great breakfast and an amazing and very helpful staff. This is really the kind of place I adore, full of history with its more than 250 years existence run by the same family, 9th generation in a row, with its homely dining room and heartwarming bar with its old piano. I even was allowed to prepare for my piano class playing with candlelight! My heartfelt gratitude to the people who give this place a soul and turn a stay with them in a wonderful experience.

Excellent service, very efficient staff and consistently good meals served with a smile. Large comfortable bedroom with beautiful bathroom facility.

Unfortunately beds weren’t made up for us and the room was not cleaned daily which was expected.

Delightful family-run hotel (eight generations of Famille Bonhomme) with a traditional ambience, old-fashioned charm, pleasant and welcoming staff, good restaurant with properly cooked food, decent breakfast too. Our room was comfortable, coffee machine, with an absolutely huge en-suite bathroom. Nice location in a village next to the river, with serious caves next door. What's not to like?

Location was very good. Walks and hikes could start at the hotel. The caves - which were worthwhile - were just around the corner. Breakfast was good, not abundant, but everything you needed was there. I liked the nice lady that attended breakfast 🙂. Dinner was very good, the restaurant was very stylish. We enjoyed a drink on the nice terrace, after our walk. Although our room was at the back (no view), it was very quiet because you did not have the streetnoise. The room was very clean and everything was there that you needed. Good beds. We loved the well kept unique character of the house. Even the toilets on the ground floor were still maintained in the old style, so nice. The owners were very nice.

In the middle of both nights that we stayed, we heard people talk lively in the attic above our room.

Lovely room and very well equipped. Beautiful building and fascinating old pictures of the place across many years. Lovely traditional French food (though not much for vegetarians!)

Not the hotel's fault but the road outside is very noisy, which was disturbing.

The hotel is an exceptional one. Its walls talk history. I had a wonderful room and a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was typically continental. The restaurant cuisine is impeccable and the restaurant itself is so beautiful.

I was there on a long weekend and it was extremely busy. One could see that they had a lack of staff, especially during the day, and there were some delays in serving. Moreover, some waiters can work under stress and still be friendly but others can be rude.

Nice location, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious as well. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was tasty and affordable.

Not all staff speaks English which makes communication a bit challenging at times. Certain interior aspects could use a bit of updating, such as the damaged upholstery in the breakfast location.

Lovely old-fashioned hotel. The restaurant speaks of a glorious past. Our room had been renovated to a high standard -very comfortable. Our meal was most enjoyable.

This is a lovely old traditional hotel. The dining room is exceptional!

unfortunately the hotel bar and restaurant are closed on a Wednesday. Stayed here last year and the restaurant was fantastic. Also, last year, enjoyed having a cold beer on the terrace!

location was beautiful and the view too. We had an excellent dinner. The bedding was so comfortable. really nice breakfast. Such a nice walk along the water.
