The location is quiet and private but still only a few mins walk to the main pier, Abraao beach, supermarkets, restaurants etc Loved waking up to birdsong Ricardo, the host, was friendly, helpful and welcoming. He can book all the excursions you'd want to do on the island with discount. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and the apartment is clean It's a good choice on Ilha Grande

Air conditioning noisy and not very powerful (although there is a fan too) WiFi hit and miss ( although this is an island issue I think) Room is a bit dark Few maintenance issues which Ricardo is sorting out

Costa Verde was the perfect stay to make our trip to an amazing island even better. Ricardo is the best host I have had the privilege of staying with. Great humour, easy to get along with and really cares for his guests providing amazing informing and advice for you whilst at Costa Verde. The apartment is close enough to get anywhere you need to in Abraão but it tucked away nicely, making it a tranquil spot that perfect to relax at after a busy day hiking or out on the boats. The highlight of our trip. Thank you so much.

Wonderful stay at Pousada Costa Verde. Room was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location (2min walk from shops and restaurants but still quiet and peaceful). Ricardo was a great host, taking the time to explain all information about the accommodation and the island in general (all in English too!). He gave us great hiking and beach recommendations which really attributed for a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend Pousada Costa Verde!

Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Great with recommendations of local restaurants and things to do. Organised a boat trip for our group, which was an amazing day. The rooms and bathroom are basic, but clean and do the job! The air conditioning works, but is quite loud. The room comes with a fridge which is really handy. Location is quiet at night and about 7 mins walk down to the beach front. Easy to get around the town on foot. Would defo recommend staying here!

Host is great. Knows everything you could want to know about what to do. Help us organise tours and hikes. Very friendly and willing to help out with whatever - made sure we knew we could message him about anything else later in our trip even. Everything he sorted for us he got us a discount on. We had a first floor room with a balcony and decent view - great to sit out with a beer after a hike. The room was big and clean. AC great, we turned it down in the end. Big shower. Fridge, kettle. Gave us bowls so we could make noodles.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Super clean and comfortable rooms in a great location - easy walking distance to the centre of town. What made our stay, though, was Ricardo's fantastic hospitality. He was so helpful with organising tours and gave us loads of tips on various hikes and beaches. The hotel even has a shower you can use after you've checked out after a day at the beach - a really thoughtful touch.

Beautiful space. Spacious room. Great location close to the main town with a choice of many restaurants and bars. So safe walking around the area. Ricardo the host was incredible - welcoming and friendly, we felt so at home. He helped us with our arrival and onward travel plans and provided recommendations for hikes and beaches. Super useful as he spoke English, an added bonus as we have v limited Portuguese. Muito obrigada

Very peaceful location. Clean & comfortable rooms - every 2nd day the room would be cleaned with fresh linen and laundry. Ricardo was sooo helpful and kind and gave us a great intro into best spots around the island and helped us to book tours

Nothing - we loved our stay!

Ricardo was super helpful. A host who was friendly, down to earth and made us feel so welcome and at home. We were able to go to him for anything we needed and he had so much useful information about the island. The place was kept clean with bi-nightly cleans and it was a perfect location. A two minute walk from the main strip and the beach but backing the hills so it was nice and quiet with beautiful views. We would highly recommend.

Ricardo was an amazing host! Room was spacious and clean with ample storage. Cleaning was offered every other day. Ricardo gave great recommendations of things to do and when we wanted to book an island boat trip, he arranged it all for us, for a great price. He also let us know where to hire snorkels and best places to eat.

No negative comments. Amazing host and beautiful pousada.
