Best breakfast in the world. I have been there 15 years ago and breakfast was the thing I remember the most. Now, 15 years later, it is still the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world. Great selection of juices, coffee, milk, chocolate, tea. Cakes and pastries, fresh fruits, several different kinds of bread, cereal, yogurt, hot breakfast items like eggs, macaxeira, cuscuz, sausages, meats, as well as cold cuts. And the best: toasted tapioca pancakes made to order, with your filling of preference. Just amazing. And it was included.

There's some ants on bed but that seems to be quite common in Brazil. They don't cause huge problems but just annoying.

The breakfast was fantastic. Especially I liked the freshly prepared tapioca. Delicous. Furtheron the service was very supportive and helped my non-portuguese-speaking family members to find themselves comfortable.
There is nothing negative, that comes to my mind.

Good location, oceanfront (but it is quite a walk until you reach the shore line). Close to bars and restaurants. Nice walkable promenade. Good breakfast. Most rooms offer a good view. Clean. Close to airport.
Reception and personnel in general not very friendly. Slow check-in process. Ramp to the hotel is always full of parked cars, your taxi will not be able to drive through.

We weren’t told that there was a car park. It would have been nice to have been offered that from the first night.
