Stunning location and excellent layout of the hotel around the coast with different views from each area. Communal areas well designed. The staff were outstanding and although the language barrier caused some laughs everyone tried hard to communicate. The food in the restaurant was outstanding in quality.

Have to pay for all room services such as coffee capsules for the coffee maker, drinking water etc. For a 4* hotel complimentary water should be a given. There were no T Bags and cold milk was charged. The bedding and sheets desperately needed replacing - worn and grey, and some staining on the sheets. The pool towels have seen better days and were clen but stained and thin.

The room was very nice and even had a spa bath. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and the restaurant was great. Breakfast was really delicious, and the view while having breakfast was just amazing. The pool was warm, which was perfect since the weather was a bit cold, and the hotel also has a beautiful beach right in front.

There was some noise from the nearby rooms , which was a bit disturbing.

Basically there are 3-4 from desk staff speaking or understanding English. The rest, NONE, you struggle to communicate with them on simple things like asking for milk on the side of your coffee. This is a bit of a challenge and thinking about the value proposition and the cost (+ the number of stars they have) it’s a problem

The property and staff exceeded expectations. The photos here do not capture the beauty and uniqueness of this property. We had terrific massages in one of the most beautiful spa rooms and canceled adventures to spend more time lounging at the property. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Slightly too removed from main town, not within walking distance from restaurants. The same soundtrack / background music played on repeat.

Good location and hotel, with plenty of different spaces to chill and enjoy Ferradura views. Breakfast was excellent, special mention for Diogo who was very helpful during our stay, providing great food recommendations at the restaurant!

Ferradura is a nice beach to spend the day, but the hotel is quite far from Orla Bardot. Not a deal breaker as the hotel is great, but something to keep in mind (easy to get a taxi, which is no more than 25 reais).

From the people at the front desk through every part of the hotel, they were friendly and helpful. The views are incredible and the location was the best we saw on our trip to Buzios. If I want back, I would stay here again.

The bed was a little hard and the doors shake and squeak on windy days. Earplugs were an easy fix.

Insolito has a richly deserved reputation as one of Buzios's best hotels and doesn't disappoint. Ferradura Beach just below the hotel is known for it's calm and clean water. Service in all departments from reception to the restaurant is impeccable. The a la carte breakfast is sophisticated and tasty. Evening meal in the Galeria restaurant was world class. Overall an excellent hotel in a great tropical setting.

Only that we didn't get to stay longer!

Excellent staff. Awesome pool. The hotel was amazing and well situated. Also had an excellent spa day. Right on beach and surrounded by ocean.

The food was decent - but other than that all is good.
