The breakfast is ok. The room is fine. The staff are really kind and helpful. The facilities are new and modern, they do not allow smokers. And the location it is amazing.

The pillow was bad and they didn’t have other one. The space for a shower is a little small, and it leaks water for the whole bathroom. They don’t have prices available on the room, for mini fridge. It doesn’t have enough light on the bedroom it is really hard to get things in your luggage. Make sure everything is 220V, some outlets didn’t had a sticker saying it, so this could cause some trouble. Other than that it is a good hotel.

I chose the Novotel Itajaí for its proximity to Navegantes airport for my morning flight. It was my favorite hotel during my time in Brazil, but sadly just for one night. I wish it would have been my hotel for the whole trip! The location was great, and I enjoyed the proximity to the public market and Centro area. The rooms and public areas were comfortable and stylish, and very well designed. Breakfast was very good and had a variety of selections. Everyone was super helpful, especially Davi, who checked me out in the morning and helped me get a taxi. The staff kindly put up with my limited Portuguese and assisted me in English.
