Well located near the Orla de Cabo Branco and central beaches of João Pessoa. Great and varied breakfast on a rooftop with many options to choose from. The hotel as well as the room were brand new and very clean with good lighting.

The room didn't have much to hang and dry towels and beach clothing. Breakfast area on the rooftop could use an air conditioner as it got a lot of sun which made it warm already early in the morning. Staff could be a bit more responsive and kind.

The towels did not smell clean and the bathroom trash was not emptied from the previous occupent. I did not find these issues a big deal, but had my wife been with me this would have been a problem.

The location is OK, half distance from Cabo Branco and the Historical Center of Joao Pessoa, but you need a car or taxis. The staff was extremely kind and helpful to organise my visit of Joao Pessoa. Both the common areas and the room were wonderfully clean. The room was large enough for me and had a partial view of the ocean: it was quiet and had good electrical light to read in bed. Brakfast on the hotel terrace was a treat.

The bathroom was extremely small, with the hand bassin in the room. The mattrass was very uncomfortable, too soft and with some hard bumps in the center. These are the two reasons I only give a 7 to an otherwise excellent pousada.

The staff was friendly, and the room was very clean.

The lights flickered, so I didn't feel comfortable staying in my room for long periods of time because it gave me a headache. I wanted to read a book one night, but I couldn't stand the flickering lights. Also, the shower was cold. The electric hot water was not working. I asked for a room with a window, but unfortunately, the only window in this room was well above where I could look out of it, and it lead to the hallway, not to an outside view.
