Very easy to find and the access to the building was safe and simple (with a buzzer). The room was as shown in the pictures, a bit small but had all we needed. Close to the beach but also very peaceful location (not at all in a favela, ignore that comment because it’s not true).

The bed is not the most comfortable (the pillows were a bit small).

The bathroom had some issues .. the shower head was dirt and when you take a shower the water doesn’t go away … the drain was clogged … The fridge had a missing foot …

It was only one night and I made it through. Staff was nice and courteous, but they're not there overnight.

Pictures on the site were inaccurate. I thought breakfast was included like most places here but it wasn't even available for purchase or with them working in conjunction with a local restaurant or bakery. The pictures showed a cafe as part of the hotel (or in its ground level) and lots of breakfast pictures. There's no cafe there anymore. Also no parking, except street. Not super easy to find. Room was very badly designed where 2 beds placed in a way we couldn't walk straight past it.. you had to walk sideways (really weird.) Doors are also glass, no real windows.. however, super noisy. The area's definitely not in the best area of town, but luckily everyone in the community seemed really nice and safe. The biggest problem? The price. They really should not be overcharging just because it's peak season. They should represent the current state of the hotel in the pictures.
