Cloud9 Inn ttruly surprised us. Usually book hotels, however wanted to try something different. It is a hidden gem,. super kind staff,vehicles are inside their yard , away from the road, and outside traffic. Wonderful set up!! Breakfast was fabulous! Although their breakfast hours start at 5;30, the staff was so delightfully accommodating to make a: To Go breakfast , due to the fact we had to leave at 05;00. WEll done, most defeinatly will stay again..

The only down fall , for us, the property is quite dark. in the evening. it would be lovely/beneficial to have more light in their property.

The room was so clean, especially the fact that the floor was laminate and not a smelly carpet. They also provided a rubber shower mat, which lessened any chance of slipping in the bathtub. There was ample space in the room. The clerk who registered us was very personable and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, not only a hot meal, but also hot or cold cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice, etc. It was beautifully displayed and the tables were very clean.

Nothing, only that we did not book for a longer time, to be able to use the lovely riverslides at the park.

An old hotel and longtime landmark in Whitecourt and they've been renovating the rooms to be very cozy and up to date! The beds were comfortable and the updates are very nice. The breakfast area is adorable! I like how they do their Continental breakfast, all cold items are help yourself but they do the hot food to order. The staff was very accommodating and when we brought up our concerns about the room, they gave us a discount and thanked us for our feedback. Great management team, they seemed eager to grow and learn from our feedback. We will absolutely be back to stay here again!

A few housekeeping concerns that were addressed. The biggest critique, which is probably minor, was that there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom and because of a lack of counter space in our room, the floor was the only option for after shower clothing.

The facility is wonderful. Even amid their renovations, everything is clean. The kitchenette is so well put together, would be perfect for an extended stay. They do have continental breakfast offerings, but, have a seat and wait a few minutes and the sweetest woman will bring you a hot breakfast. All the staff seems so happy and honestly want to see their guests happy too. If I ever find myself even close to Whitecourt AB again, I will go out of my way to stay here again.

The bed wasn't the comfiest - but I didn't wake up in worse shape than I went to sleep.

Almost everything. When we got there, the paperwork was already ready. I made a mistake in booking a pet friendly room even though we don't have a pet with me. That was the only available room for us when I booked on the app. We got upgraded to a room a with queen size bed and a kitchenette. There was a full size fridge and an almost new stove oven. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was excellent too, a lot to choose from. And the two staff we met were very friendly and comfortable to related with.

The staff are incredible. The women who make up the rooms, super friendly and professional. The staff who run the free breakfast are so accommodating and friendly. So many options for breakfast. Gervi and the young woman who work the front desk are knowledgeable, quick to respond to questions I had prior to arriving. This will be our go to place while staying in Whitecourt.

I liked the upgraded rooms. Very nice and felt like being at home. The bathroom was super nice and upgraded as well, and I loved that the bathroom mirror had a light around the edges, like a big makeup mirror. The staff were awesome and friendly. We will definitely be looking into staying there our next visit to Whitecourt.

There was a big gap under our door, about a good inch and a half. We could hear all the noise from the hallway. Breakfast was over at 9. Would be great if it was a bit later, like 10 am or 11 am, for the late sleepers.

It was impeccably clean. Our room was spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. We needed a room at the last minute and they were happy to accommodate. The next day, we realized we would need to be there another night and they made it happen for us. Breakfast is great and more than expected.

We loved everything about our stay.

2nd time here. Very reasonably priced. The building is old but they did a great job renovating and updating the rooms. Staff are all super kind. Breakfast is based on a rotating menu of eggs/bacon/sausage/home fries, with typical cold options like yogurt, cereal and toast too. On site laundry for $2. Walls are a bit thin but for the price, you can't get better than this.

Don't love the non-eco friendly soaps but that's like most hotels. Also didn't love the disposable dishes/utensils at breakfast. Hope they can move to a reusable option.

Breakfast was OK. The Scrambled Eggs had no taste. They needed some salt and spices. The Scrambled Eggs were Over Cooked every day. When there was supposed to be an Omelette, It was just Scrambled Egg. An actual Omelette should at least have Cheese in it, Mushrooms onions and Spices would be preferred and not Over Cook the eggs every time. The Eggs should only be cooked so there not raw and still soft not Rubbery. Atleast some Garlic and Onion Powder, salt would make a Huge difference. Thanks for listening.
