We had a great overnight stay here. The location is convenient and there is a supermarket across the road and some local cafes. However, Ashcroft is less than 10 minutes’ drive away and is a quaint place with a bigger supermarket, lovely bakery/coffee shop, some other retail outlets and galleries and is worth a visit. Our room was compact, which we knew when making the booking, but it was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed for our short stay. The bathroom was very small indeed and although not a problem at all for us, it could be challenging for some guests. The manager, Michael, was most welcoming and helpful and gave us a room furthest from the road junction, which was much appreciated. He also allowed us to check-in early, for which we were very grateful. Thank you Michael!

There was nothing.

The room was spotless. It smelled so clean and fresh, it had everything you need (coffee, cookies for breakfast were a really sweet touch), The bed was comfy ( a little soft but good). The shower had soap and shampoo/conditioner. The entrance was so well organize with lots of rack and hanging space and a place for your shoes. The A/C was surprisingly quiet and very effective despite the blistering heat outside. Both outside and inside it's very organized, neat and clean. The gentleman who operates it is an absolute sweetheart. He went out of his way to make sure he had enough pillows, towels etc. Very easygoing and very professional. The place was super quiet. It does not have a pool, however, the location is great: a mini mark right across the street, in the middle of everything in the cache creek downtown area, just 5 minute walk to everything. For a one night stay during a motorcycle trip it was prefect. Will stay here again

Maybe some coffee mate or creamers if I had to be super picky. Nothing else comes to mind.

A cozy room with an airbnb feel. Bed was very comfortable and staff were friendly. Would stay here again—with the convenience of a coffee shop across the road and restaurants in easy walking distance it’s a great location.

Bathroom was a little tight, but served its purpose and I appreciated having a full length mirror in the room. No iron or ironing board, but once again not a deal breaker and wasn’t listed in amenities. I doubt many guests need one anyways and there was enough hangers to hang what was needed.

We had a really nice experience at Sunset Motel where we stayed for 2 nights. The room is not huge but clean and with everything you need included fridge, microwave, coffee machine with capsules...there is a coffee shop in front of the motel too for take away breakfast on the table outside your room. The manager is really nice and helpful, he also suggested us a taco restaurant nearby for dinner with beautiful view on the valley. We loved the landscape in Cache Creek and enjoyed our stay very much overall.

The furniture and fixtures are new and quite stylish. Also, the desk clerk (owner?) is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and most have kitchenettes.

The rooms are a bit small but typical of motels of that era.

Although the room was small it had been newly renovated, and more than met our expectations. There was so much attention to detail, and extras that you would not expect to find in a room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing to dislike, but the TV was a new system to us. Info how to run it would have been helpful. The manager showed us how to run it when we asked for help, and it is a very efficient system once you figure it out.

Much nicer than it first appeared from the road. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. There was small outside seating area which we enjoyed.

There were no inside locks on the door. The bathroom was very small and there was no place to hang a towel.

The room was everything we needed and more. From the lovely new retro fridges with freezer to the coffee and tea. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. They are not big rooms but for a night or two they are more than sufficient ! Will def book again.

Owner let us check in an hour early. Brand new furnishing nd very tasteful decor.

A bit close to Highway. Couldn’t find the lever to pull to turn on the shower.

Really good. Deserving of its high rating. Pleasant man at the office with good local knowledge. Perfect location in Cache Creek for a meal or supplies. Good TV with the apps. Always good to park right outside the room

Nothing to worry about. The room would get tight with a crowd, fine by yourself or with someone you don't mind
