Cabin was warm. Shower was hot. The view of the lake and the coastal mountain range was terrific. Property manager, Matt, was very friendly and helpful in all respects.

This was a fishing trip. The facility has boats for rent but they are powered by puny electric motors with less than two hours of battery life. This severly limits the time and distance you can cover in a fishing session; not to mention that the battery may fail much sooner during the late morning and afternoon when the wind comes up and leaves you in a potentially dangerous situation.

Everything about my stay was amazing! This resort is in the middle of no where, you have no cellphone service after William's Lake, if you are driving up. This place is surrounded by natural beauty and some gravel backroads can take you to some amazing waterfalls, mountain views and more. There are wild horses, cattle, bears, caribou, moose, bears, all for your enjoyment. This lake is full of Trout, would highly recommend renting one of the boats and heading out to the middle of the lake for fishing! Worth it! 100% recommend staying here if you like a simple, slow paced, stress-free vacation/getaway!

Not enough time in the day!

It's a quiet, peaceful site with lots of bird activity along the lake - loons, ducks, eagles, song birds. There are canoes, kayaks and row boats that quests can use for free and motor boats to rent. The Pioneer cabin is the best bet since it is right on the waterfront.

Staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond helping us resolve some mechanical difficulties. The cabin was perfect 🥰

The location was exceptional! We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and were able to relax and explore. The hosts offered many suggestions for touring the area and we made use of the boat rentals and kayaks!

The location of the resort is amazing on the northwestern shore of Nimpo Lake. It feels tucked away and isolated from everyone else which was peaceful. There are many water activities to do with resources provided (kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, fishing). The hosts are extremely welcoming and there's even a super friendly cat to greet you and hang out with! I stayed at the Hilltop cabin, which was cozy, felt rustic and had a pretty good view of the surrounding area. There's also a lot to do within the town of Nimpo Lake and the hosts can point you in the right direction. Overall, a great getaway from the bustle of every day life.

I didn't stay long enough to truly enjoy the available activities, so here's hoping I can return one day!
