Selfishly, at the risk of availability for us next time, we ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND staying at Auberge MicKy. We live in the Maritimes but drive to Ontario quite often to visit. We have stayed in Edmundston frequently over the years, at other hotels and a B&B, but only recently discovered this GEM. It’s a short distance from the main highway and nothing in Edmundston is far away. The rooms are not luxurious but they are clean, quiet, there’s a fridge in the room and we had drive-up access to the room. Also, there is immediate proximity to CHANTAL’S, an exquisite dining experience. In all, completely satisfactory for a short term stay.

Might you put two packets of coffee in the room?

We stayed in one of the King Room with Spa Bath rooms upstairs from the front desk. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated including an ornamental antique wash basin and stand in the washroom.

The only negative during our stay was the noise from the restaurant downstairs. I suspect it wasn't a typical evening but on the night we stayed there was an extremely boisterous group that dominated our space until the restaurant closed at 10:00. Although we really enjoyed our room and will stay here again, we will probably avoid staying here on a weekend when the restaurant is at its busiest.

This hotel is very close to the Trans Canada but shielded from it by a sturdy band of trees making it feel very private. There is lots of parking. The room was nicely equipped with a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker. Overall this place is cozy and comfortable with a good sized room and a very comfortable bed. We will gladly stay here again when we're in the area.

There were no tea options in the room, just coffee.

Large clean pet friendly room. Large bathroom with a jacuzzie tub, great for sore muscles after a long drive, water pressure on shower was good. Outside facilities included a covered Gazebo, and gas bbqs, with utensils ( very clean), all they ask is you clean up. Close to tge highway, the Trans canada hiking trail is across the road. They have currently added some little cottages, you can see tye pride in ownership.

Sometimes noise from the highway was a little loud.

The Auberge was a hidden gem. Truly magnificent, small and full of charm and character. We were welcomed immediately, and checked in within minutes. The room we chose had a king bed, a gas fireplace, and a Jacuzzi tub. Everything in the room was immaculate, clean, and warmly inviting. We enjoyed a delicious relaxing dinner in Chantal's Steak House downstairs without needing to get back into our car and leave the Inn. Our waiter was amazing. He was personable, attentive and great fun to talk with. All in all we felt very much at home.

Can't think of a thing that wasn't perfect.

The location was perfect - minutes off the Trans Canada Highway. Dinner in their steakhouse was gourmet and far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were all themed and gorgeously appointed with antique furniture. Spotlessly clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower.

The only thing to improve would be to offer breakfast. However, there were spots for breakfast close by. Provide breakfast - either included or for a charge.

Quiet location but very close to hwy exit. Very clean and well maintained property. All drive to the door units with fridge, coffee maker and microwave, so perfect for travel on a long rd trip. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for breakfast AC and beds were both excellent!

We needed a rm with 2 beds so there was no place to sit other than on the beds and no table or other surfaces except half a small desk.

This was my 2nd stay here. Great friendly people, super convenient to highway, clean and comfortable room with all the basic amenities and reasonably priced. Comfortable bed. Love that I can back my car up to my door. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but will on my way back through in 10 days. My new favorite stopping point between Halifax and Montreal.

This hotel was so so so so cute. We stayed one night around Christmas, we arrived late and walking into the reception was like walking into a 100 year old farm house. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The hotel room was clean, the shower was nice and the beds were comfortable. I drive between Ontario and Nova Scotia at least once a year, I would stay here again.

Traditional style motel property. Lovely gardens in front. Room was impeccably clean and had very clearly been very recently renovated. New door, new window, new blinds, fresh paint, lovely hand painted artwork on the wall. Bathroom was immaculate, grout and caulking was blinding white and fresh. Bed was so extremely comfortable, we almost napped through our dinner reservation. Location is conveniently very close to the TransCanada Highway, but is still very quiet - we slept with the window open and marvelled at how peaceful it was. Best thing about the location - The Great Trail (TransCanada Trail) is right across the road!

Very small complaint - plugs are very hard to access in the room, so difficult to charge devices.
