Old but clean

It was advertised as air conditioning in the rooms . This is false advertising, unless a portable fan is considered “ air conditioning “ It has no view , located amongst other homes. Breakfast can only be rated as fair, skimpy portions, however there was fresh fruit salad The welcome was not overly welcoming. Any B&B I’ve stayed in and it’s been multiple always had snacks out for patrons but not here. Teas and coffee only.

Everything! The room and house was so cozy. There was a table with variety of teas and coffees which I loved. The host is so nice and lovely to talk to. She tries her best. The breakfast was a delight. It was awesome experinece. We extended our stay for a day because we felt so relaxed and comfortable there.

The room was small but bathroom was bigger than average size.

Our hostess was friendly and we chatted about the area, her family and experiences in the business. We also enjoyed the people who stayed in the other rooms.

The room we were in was a little crowded because it was set up to have 3 people. We didn't need the extra bed and extra space would have been nice, but we had access to a full living room and table downstairs, so it was fine.

We were looking for a reasonable priced bed and breakfast and a place to relax. The hosts are very kind and seem to balance just enough conversation without being intrusive. Breakfast was great with home made muffins, French toast and fruit salad, granola and yogurt

I thought it would be walking distance to a restaurant. It was on a nice bay that you could walk down to the pier and see boats and a sunset though

The hostess made us feel very much at home! Her breakfasts were excellent and was able to accommodate a gluten free breakfast as well! We loved that we were able to use a common room. Included was the use of a micro wave, a tea kettle with tea and instant coffee. We also had use of a small shared fridge. We loved the area. Not far out of town, it felt like we were in the country.

Breakfast was very nice. Host was helpful advising where to go and what to do. Our room and private bathroom, and the rest of the house was clean and comfortable. Good value.

The room was smaller than a standard hotel room for 3 people. Since it was only for one night, it was manageable.

The owner of the AirB&B was so nice. We booked a very early tour and had to leave earlier. I wasn't expecting the owner make the breakfast for us.

The Mermaid B & B is a very cosy, family-friendly place to stay, on the beautiful rugged coast of Twillingate. The breakfast was excellent with self-made muffins, fresh fruit salad, eggs, bacon, self-made jam. There are helpful informations about things to do nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, and wish we had had more time there.

Nice clean house, quiet. Nice breakfast.

Would have liked to have the wireless code upon arrival for trip planning. Breakfast was delicious but would have appreciated it earlier than 8 am to get on the road for long driving.

Great and charming place. Very well kept. The owner, Diana, was great as well. Home cooked breakfast every morning was excellent. You will not be disappointed with your stay.
