I was passing through Blind River and googled hotels in the area. This hotel had the best rate and free parking, so I didn’t expect too much. I booked a small room just for myself. The staff was so welcoming and friendly! That’s nice after a long days drive. My room had a fridge and power bar and a nice hot shower. The bed was clean and comfortable. I was able to park directly in front of my room and requested a ground floor room which was accommodated. The wifi password was on my keys and used the microwave to nuke my dinner. Great overall experience! Will return.

There was a slight musty smell but nothing out of hand. I forgot all about it after I settled in.

The view was amazing! We could see the river and the dam from our room! The building has a lot of great character, and it's bright, making it feel like a safe place to stay on our travels. We walked along the riverbank and found a small beach area where a few people were enjoying an evening swim. There was also a communal firepit and a veranda that wrapped around the entire second floor.

The beds were not the comfiest, and the bathroom door didn't latch, but we enjoyed our stay regardless!

Overall appearance of the motel seemed makeshift to make do without having spent way too much money on a redo.

We rented several rooms for family. Having grown up here, the location is why I chose this motel. New owner was very accommodating and is renovating as he has time. It's clean and cozy. Location near the water is peaceful.

Very peaceful after a long day of driving Comfortable, wonderful set up. It’s like a private apartment.

The stairs should have lights, especially the steps from one landing to the other.

The property owners know us quite well from our travels and always do their best to make us as comfortable as possible and go above and beyond to give us a flexible check in time The falls outside the bedroom are a touch I never knew I would love. The bedrooms are cute and private

Well worn motel that seems to be remodeling? They gladly welcomed our 90 lb dog. Room was riverside, and very quiet. Bathroom was clean.

The location and view on the riverside was awesome. So great to wake up to the water

Could use some upgrades but everything work just fine.

Cleaning people were waiting for us to leave shortly after 10am when checkout is at 11am.
