Fairly economical; staff was really friendly! Rooms weren’t anything fancy, but they got the job done when just needing a place to lay our heads for the night. It’s also conveniently located across the street from a Tim Horton’s, so we had some good coffee for the road in the morning (since we had to leave before the motel’s breakfast started).

The sofa bed didn’t have sheets on it; it looked like it had seen better days. I’m sure the staff would have provided sheets had we asked, but we had our own blankets and so just made that work. Minor repairs needed here and there to walls and sink faucet. King bed was a tad lumpy, and the room smelled a little stale.

The staff were excellent. They were neat, clean, well presented. They were courteous and kind. They handled the snow storm like seasoned professionals.

I didn't like that the bathroom door had other people's body hairs stuck to it and a thick layer of dust. Also, the area outside the bathroom had a face print of makeup on it. Like someone had their face pushed into the wall. The front door had knuckle indents and a boot mark on it like someone tried kicking in the door at some point. Also, no privacy or safety lock on inside of the door.

This used to be a rough motel when I was growing up. It's clearly under new ownership (by new I mean the last 20 years since I was in Chatham). My dad was a little worried when he heard I booked us to stay here for a one night stay, but everything about the experience was good! The rooms have been updated and are actually elegant. The one we had is in better shape than some fancier hotels I've stayed at elsewhere. There were no concerns from me regarding infestation etc, which is something I check at every motel or hotel we stop at. The tub was super deep so my child enjoyed playing in there and I enjoyed not having a mess to clean up! There was a mini fridge which was a saviour for us since we needed to store milk! The staff were SO nice! A young woman checked us in and ahe was incredibly kind and friendly. A man checked us out and he listened to the minor concern we had. The breakfast was simple (apples were the only fruit, but there were muffins/bread/English muffins/bagels, oats and 2 types of cereal, coffee/ hot water for tea, cream cheese and butter, milk and orange juice). It was fresh and yummy, and we didn't even realize it was included so it was perfect! The location is right beside a restaurant, accross from a Timmies (and a cool music store that's been there forever). The area is quiet. My dad really liked the firm bed; that's not something that I enjoyed, but if your preference is like my father you will appreciate them! Wifi was included for the reasonable price.

The coffee maker was broken. We didn't fuss over it, and the man thanked us for letting him know at check out. The TV was stubborn and it took a while to figure out how to get the channels to load. Those are literally the only issues we experienced; truthfully, they were not serious concerns at all. We only chose to stay here because the hotels were sold out and this and one other location were all that had vacancy when we looked online. But, we will absolutely choose to stay here again when we come down to see family again!!!! The price is in our budgeted range and it was worth the value of the location. Great management!

Spacious rooms, cleanliness, spacious bathroom.

The TV did not work, but then I was not interested because I was busy taking pictures and exploring the city. If I had contacted the reception, I am sure they would have helped.

The smokers outside. We were on the top floor and had to walk through everybody smoking to get to our room.

You advertise this property as 3 star on your website. It is not a 3 star property. It is a decent roadside motel and that's it. We had expectations that were different than what we arrived to because of the advertising. The motel was fine, just not what we expected.

beds were very comfortable - we went to the Fortress Tavern for a night out to listen to a live band and its just a few minutes walk from this motel - excellent location for that nite. The room was large and had everything we needed - not the Hilton but very good for the money for sure. They offered free ice and a little continental breakfast which was good enough.

we liked everything - no complaints - and you can smoke outside your room which is a nice benefit that most places don't offer

The front desk lady was very kind, witty and funny. She had us laughing and smiling everytime we approached her.

There was someone lighting off fireworks outside out room - understanding it was canada day though but it was very loud. We understand that this was outside of the hotel's control and it did quiet down after a while.

Close to a great Portuguese Restaurant and across the street from a Timmie’s. Rooms are good size, clean and well appointed.

Nothing but a minor complaint due to a wait I had at check in and I was informed that the $100 deposit is typically held for 14 days on your CC.

Clean rooms, new amd the TV was set up to roku devices allowing you to log into your own streaming accounts and watch whatever you like and it sign out on checkout. Or simply watch the free items provided by roku

The location was a slight be out if the way, indont drive and it's in the outskirts if town but no too far you can still walk to it if you must.
