The staff person was quick to check us in. She also made the breakfast which was good. It was in a great location right along the water. The room had good facilities including a microwave and frig. Also it had a seating area which had a coffee table and couch. Breakfast was good. You put in your order at the little cafe and took away to your room to eat. It was good though. The waterfront was across the street and it would be good in the summer for all ages to swim and use the beach.

The room was a awkwardly shaped but fit good facilities. The bathroom was tiny. I was not able to figure out how to turn on the heat as it was cooler at night. There is a specialized electric heater which looks like a radio, and it would have been good to include some visible instruction on how it worked.

breakfast consisted of a copy of an egg mcmuffin and a coffee. Nothing special The young lady at the check-in desk was very pleasant despite some computer glitches beyond her control at check-in

TV was impossible to get operating, but to be fair, we didn't ask staff for assistance. We got the last room which came with a small double bed which was cramped and uncomfortable for 2 adults. Had a room with 2 double beds or a queen bed been available we probably would have been quite satisfied.

Bathroom wasn't the cleanest...toilet, tub surround. Communication was not the best. I also received a call the week prior asking me for my credit card information over the phone. They said they couldn't get it through Booking.com. I felt very uncomfortable giving them that over the phone.

Great location on the lake with a nice beach and play areas for kids close by . Nice rooms that were clean with fridge and microwave. Free breakfast was an English muffin with egg and bacon and hash brown. Was good for me but if someone wants something different they have to pay for it. Not like most places that offer a selection of breakfast options with feee breakfast. Bed comfortable. Couch was not comfortable. Quiet location. Pet friendly with a fee. Owner was very nice.

Location, location, location and reception. Exceptional view of the lake and marina with everything contained in one "city" block (LCBO, waterfront walkways and park, restaurant and, even a cannabis store two blocks away). The food served on the terrasse or take-out (no inside restaurant) is an excellent blend of indian (not too spicy, just right) and traditional (butter chicken poutine, pizza on nan bread). Add the lakefront charm of Haileybury and the combination is hard to beat.

Rooms are on the smallish side but very comfortable with all expected amenities. A restaurant should be added as the owner cooks excellent indian food (a bonus, literally).

It was so nice to stay here. My husbands family owned it in the early 70's, many good memories. so great to sit right at the waterfront. Our room , was in his day the laundry area, and it has been changed into a lovely room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend this hotel . We will be back. Haileybury beach is terrific for all ages, very clean with great swimming area.

Right on the water, breakfast sandwiches and coffee included in your stay. Beach to the left of the property you can walk right to it. Rent a kayak or pedal boat and enjoy the views from the water! Alan and his wife are the sweetest people and truely care about their guests stay. We have definitely made some good friends with them and will be back as much as we can!

It was a lovely location. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant.

Inflexibility of breakfast choices so even though it was "included" we opted for breakfast elsewhere.

Ideal location, minutes from Northern college where I was helping my daughter get settled into her dorm for a few days.. Beautiful view! Very convenient parking. Loved the fridge freezer combo!! Larger freezer size than I have seen before. Really liked the hutch beside the fridge-great addition!

Didn’t turn on A/C because filter was very dirty; Incredibly dusty under bed; Room really should have a coat rack-(vacant wall by door)

The room was redecorated and was very clean. The bed was good. The only thing I can say because of the time of the year the flowers were extremely cotherwise. I recommend this place.

I wish after we booked the place that they could turn to heat up more, especially in the winter. It's a very cold place that you could come to a nice warm room other than not no complaints.
