Loved the location and simplicity to check. The room was simple and not very expensive. My children had updated rooms and they were lovely. They were quite roomy with laminate flooring and a modern bathroom.

Unfortunately, and unexpectedly, our room had not been renovated. This made a difference. The paint was peeling. Although clean, the washroom was teeny and was hard to move around in. We also had a fridge that was not plugged in which is understandable. However, when we pull it out to plug in it was quite dirty behind the unit. The air conditioner was effective but quite loud (likely old).

Control valve on the shower did not work proberly and would go from hot to cold to warm. Toilet was too close to the door of the room it was in .You had to remove clothing befor eyou could close the door to toilet and then your knees were almost onthe door when you sat down. Had to sit on bed to watch TV as the only chair was too close

I like to soak my back after a long day on the motorcycle. So I generally prefer rooms with a bathtub. My room only had a shower stall. My friend’s room had a tub. Th layout of the room was VERY strange indeed the toilet was in a separate closet sized room. The shower and sink, had only a curtain to separate it from the room.

The owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant even if were there for a single night. He gave us an overview of the island and gave us some tips of where to visit based on our preferences. He also tried very hard to accommodate us for the feather/down allergies and found some pillows for us on very short notice.

The room is super bare bones, very small and cramped. Good for a short stay, would not recommend for a longer stay. The rooms are also next to one another in a way that if you want to be outside, you're pretty much with the cars and smokers.

Thank you for offering a quiet, clean plase and COVID-safe check-in. I have health conditions that put me at higher risk for adverse reactions, and was very happy to see masks worn at the front desk. Because of that I felt safe chatting a bit and got tips on what to see on beautiful Manitoulin island -- Providence Bay, cup & saucer trail, etc. Room was very clean as well, would stay again.

Very convenient location The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. Definitely worth for your money I wasn’t so sure about staying at a motel, but my stay was much better than what I expected.

The carpet wasn’t seem too clean. Other than that all was so good.

location is good, closes to major routes, gas station just across the street, there is a grocery store next door and a pharmacy is closed by. it is not far away from the water front downtown area. The staff is nice, the owner is very friendly.

The air conditioning is not very strong, feel very warm in the room in the afternoon. I can always open the window to get cool air. they should put more pillows, I have only 2 small pillows on the bed.

It was a basic clean and fairly modern motel. Room was small but all the necessities were there. The owners were very friendly in the limited contact we had with them.

The only drawback was that the room was quite small with limited space for our luggage.

We enjoyed the room and closeness of the stores. The management of the motel was really nice and he even come to the room after nine pm to help with a minor issue.

I didn't like that the fridges were not turned on before our arrival.

Breakfast was not included with this stay. The motel is great! Friendly staff!

The controls for the air conditioner were difficult for me to reach as it was located overtop of the refrigerator.
