Love that we had two rooms in front of each other at the end of an alley so it was very peaceful and quiet. The staff was super nice, i appreciate the front desk staff that called us before we arrive to see how we were doing and know what time we planned on arriving to be ready for us and take arrangement if we came in late. I was really impressed with that called, theady was very nice over the phone. The restaurant was also very nice with the amazing view on the lake. **the eco-parc des etchemins is the reason we booked at the manoir and seriously it was totally worth it, one of the best spot i visited all summer! :)

The bathroom has space for improvement, it was a little small and the shower was a bathtubshower which I'm not a fan of, and the step was a bit too high even with the sign i pumped into it once or twice) but it was ok for what we needed, it served his purpose. ;)

The place was very clean, it was very quiet eventhough it was fully booked, the decor is different then what you will find in regular hotels. You have kayaks at your disposition, lots of seating provison on the lake (chairs, tables, longchairs, sectional sofa), so you can fully enjoy the lake.

It could have more storage space, i am not sure how it works in the winter, when one has lot more cloths to hang.

Unfortunately due to Covid, the restaurant opens only on Friday and Saturday, we were there on a Thursday.

The meal selection was not as good as our last stay.

One of the reasons we booked this property is that they stated there is a Spa, Gym, and massage services. In fact, they don't have a massage therapist (for whatever reason); gym is a small room with a non working equipment (the only the treadmill was broken). Spa is just a small sauna, but it was functioning at least.

The view, pool, spa and breakfast were fine. it's really a nice looking place.

The lack of staff due to Covid probably had an impact on the poor restaurant experience. The menu was really stripped down and order mixed up with cold food. The room was full of humidity and pretty small.

We didn't eat breakfast there.

We arrived on snowmobiles and checked into our rooms,then went to the restaurant to eat supper and were told if we didn't have a reservation they couldn't seat us. The bar area that we used to enjoy was closed and a mess. We then found out that a new microbrewery was renting space downstairs and was in the process of rebuilding an area that was also a mess and the heat wasn't working properly. we ended up eating microwaved food from the very limited bar menu. When we woke up we saw that most of the cars in the parking lot were gone so it seems people that weren't staying had preferential treatment for dinner over guest of the hotel. The tv's in our rooms didn't work.We won't be staying here again.
