I enjoyed and liked everything about my stay at Melsask Motel. I totally appreciate that the management/staff/ownership were professional, considerate, polite, and ready and willing to help whenever one needs assistance. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. All that a guest needs is seen to in a most positive and personable manner. To put it all in one word....AWESOME! Thank you all at Melsask Motel. This was my third stay, and it is because of all the above that I stayed at your motel again. And will always stay at Melsask motel whenever I come to this area. I liked it all.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are great , they have A/ C in the rooms, the location is close to everything alittle walk to downtown , restaurants, if you have little kids there is a park across the road. I have been coming and staying here for afew years , never have had an issue .They have recently renovated as well looks very nice.

This time I wasn't so happy with the room, the bed was uncomfortable to my liking, the couch wasn't good , sat on a plain chair to watch TV.I prefer a room where the bed and TV are together, there wasn't much picking of rooms so had to take what there was , other then that I usually have a great stay there.

I knew this in advance that there wasn't a breakfast, and that was not a problem for me at all. The owners, management and staff (all one and the same) were outstanding. They were most accomadating, respectul, considerate, polite and quick to help. They are just straight up Excellent! The room was awesome as far as I'm concerned. I slept well all four nights, so no noise concerns, as other guests were considerate. I highly recommend Melsask Motel to others.

Nice clean motel. While the rooms were dated, they were obviously in the process of improving the rooms. Our bathroom was recently redone and there were new A/C units, Fridges etc. in boxes to be installed. Note: Bar soap was provided in the rooms, but not Shampoo, so you may want to bring your own.

Mattresses could be firmer We generally expect some kind of shampoo to be provided for guests in hotels.

No breakfast available and if it were, the price for a room would go up. Everything you need to make a cup of coffee is here, perhaps a bit more sugar and whitener would be nice seeing as how there was enough coffee supplied to make 2 pots, I use a lot of sugar in my coffee, so I was only able to have 2 cups and poured the rest of the coffee out before leaving. To be fair, there WERE 5 sugar packets....but hardly enough for 2 POTS of coffee, let alone a 3rd cup in my case. Towels, soap, phone book, TV channel guide were all as you would expect and not worthy of any further mention.

The strike plate on the door frame was loose....Not the most secure scenario and requires some attention. However, there appear to be security cameras on site so perhaps the management is satisfied with guest security as far as unauthorized entry is concerned?

The bed was to soft for me, and I had really noisy neighbour's this trip, banging and scruffiling around on the walls , had a hard time to sleep, but I never said anything to the staff...didn't want any trouble

We needed a place to stop over last minute on our trip from Ontario to BC and found the Melsask. I don't stay at many motels, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but decided to trust other reviews. I'm glad i did, the room (while a bit dated, but that's not really a real concern anyway) was very clean and put together. There was an AC unit which was great as it was 30 degrees out when we arrived. Check in was easy and quick, and the manager/owner was very kind. The wifi was not great but for one night it wasn't a huge deal for us. Would definitely stay again if needed, and would recommend to anyone needing a quick stay!

The property is older, as you can see from the photos BUT it’s clean, well-maintained, cozy, comfortable, and just what I needed. I will go back, as I have family in Melville to visit often, and I will likely stay for an extended period at the Melsask. It’s a great property for longer stays.

The owners are very pleasant, the room was cleaned everyday and it's a excellent location for restaurants and amenities, very pleased I have been going there for afew years now when I go out to melville ...I would recommend stating there.
