Perfect location with a rental car. Less than 5 minutes from the airport (but quiet); 10 minutes to reach the amazing Lac Bay, 10 minutes to the main restaurant area in Kralendijk and the water taxi to Klein Bonaire. Only 5 minutes to visit the Donkey Sanctuary (kids love it). And just across the street to the Ocean Club for a refreshing swim... bring your snorkeling gear! I hope to return to Bonaire and would easily choose this resort again.

Just 3 improvement comments: Mosquito nets would be valuable at least in the living room so that you can open the windows after sunset without fear of insects bothering you. In a 3-bedroom apartment, bath time can be quite busy and the water intensity would be reduced. It would be a good improvement to ensure stability in the flow and temperature of the water. Increase pool cleaning and maintenance of pool furniture.

We had two apartments for a family reunion at Grand Windsock Bonaire and it was very comfortable. The pool is large and can accommodate lots of guests. The kitchen is well stocked and perfect if you want to self cater. We were SCUBA diving and there is a dive operator (Wannadive) right there at the entrance which made it convenient for those taking courses. The beds were comfortable, the AC was strong and the apartment itself was well laid out. It was very comfortable and convenient for our needs. The staff was nice and friendly. There was always room for us to park our rental trucks and the area felt secure (we left all our SCUBA stuff to dry on our back patio and it was perfectly safe and no one bothered it).

Housekeeping was non existent. We were supposed to get a cleaning on day 4 (midway) through our one week stay but nothing was done (no fresh towels, restocking of toilet paper, cleaning, etc). The key system to lock/unlock the door took a while to get used to...it would be great if it were a simpler system!

Location was superb. Value for our gorgeous 3-br villa was tremendous. The resort is a bit of a Goldilocks: private villa with pool, but also large resort pool with bar; oceanfront restaurant with private snorkel/dive entry; and a dive shop on site. They also rent trucks for a very reasonable fee and have airport transfer. Housekeeping every fourth day, just when you need it. Central location, good for grocery store, Lac Bay, and southern dive/snorkel sites like Salt Pier / Pink Beach. Airplanes land right next door, but they're infrequent, and it's actually pretty cool to watch them approach.

Staff were friendly and did their best, just a little understaffed. Our scheduled airport pickup didn't arrive (confirmed 2 days prior). Once we called to inquire, they showed up quickly. The pool bar serves as front desk + registration + car rental, all in one. Would be much more efficient to have separate lines for checking in (which takes a while) vs. grabbing a quick drink. Couple of quirks: no blankets, just sheets, so bring a light throw if you can fit it. Kitchen is well outfitted with pots/pans, kettle, etc, but you have to provide oils, spices, etc. Starter kit of Nespresso pods, but bring more!

I loved the facility and the location of our apartment. It is literally right down the road from the airport. We were out of the hustIe and bustle of Kralendijk. However, if you stay at the resort I would recommend renting a car or you will need to take taxis everywhere. Just know that the restaurant and beach is across the street from the resort also. I would recommend this resort for its location and cleanliness. It was extremely safe too!!! Our apartment was very clean and a nice size!!!

What I did not like about the resort was how long it took for the staff to get us checked in and any other questions or requests we had took a long time also. We requested an early check in and were not granted one. However, there is an unlocked room to store your luggage.

The villa was very comfortable. The beds were good, especially the air-conditioning in the rooms really worked well and kept you cool during the night. The private swimming pool was very nice and the house had everything you needed.

The fan outside was making an annoying noise when the light was on, they said they'd come fix it but we asked several times and they didn't. Eventually we fixed it ourselves, but would have been better if they had.

Spacious, clean, modern cozy vila with private pool. Well equiped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Car ready upon arrival. Fridge filled with some food and drinks at a time of our late arrival. Located close to the airport but surprisingly quite. Beautiful public beach in walking distance, private beach even closer through the restaurant. Easy communication with personal, all helpful and very nice.

The pool was green for 2 days. Beach restaurant is very bad (both food selection and staff).

Beautiful resort complex with individual villas. Our villa had three bedrooms and a private pool. It was really well stocked for self-catering and had a nespresso machine and washing machine. Beautiful shaded terrace with loungers and a palapa at each villa (they do all differ slightly). There are a few good beaches easily within walking distance (wish we had explored these earlier) and a very nice central pool area. Note that you are not beachside, but very close. There is also a dive shop on site where you can rent snorkelling equipment if you don't have your own, and they also have 4WD cars to rent at reasonable rates (min 3 days). They have fresh beach towels available near the pool, you can always swap for a fresh/dry one. The staff were super friendly and helpful! AC in all the bedrooms and fans helps to keep the villa cool day and night. We were only 3 people in a villa that sleeps six so we had more than enough space. And six adults sharing would find tremendous value staying here. We prefer to self-cater and this is a great spot to do it although we also sampled things at food trucks, the beach bar etc. Eating out is costly for Canadians given the USD exchange rate! High hedges around each property provide privacy. Parrots and lizards abound!

Honestly we were very happy and would stay here again. The villa itself is really spacious. I think it's important to know that from this location a car is desirable because taxis are scarce in Bonaire and you will need one to navigate the rather rustic highway and roundabouts, to explore all the island has to offer and to do your grocery shopping. We rented one for about half our trip which worked well. The airport is close but you barely even notice it. The island is very small, you can go anywhere within about 30-45min. The stove/microwave/oven appliance was a little tricky the first time but there was a very comprehensive instruction manual!

We were a family of 6 and we had a 3 room apartment with garden, the apartment was equip with everything that we need.

When we arrived in the bathrooms was a bad smell comming from the drains. 1 of the room the door handle was not good, when you close the door from inside you couldn't open it. After that they fixed it. There was not enough parking for my car,because there's to much rental cars from the resort in the parking lots. You have to be lucky to find one other wise you must park outside of the resort and walk.

We did not eat breakfast at the resort, we mostly did our own cooking. The beds were extremely comfortable, the penthouse was spotless and comfortable, the location was ideal for being able to get to various points on the island. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to rent a car through the resort.

We noticed a sewer smell in the penthouse the persisted throughout our stay. Other than that, everything was terrific!

This was not our first visit to this resort. The villas are always very clean and have never had any issues with something not working in them. I would have scored it a 10 if the resort was on the waiter ( we are divers, so on the shores all day so not a bad location all in all), but with that said I would continue to stay at this resort when traveling to Bonaire. I would like to call out the staff that is always friendly. Thanks
