Hotel Club La Serena is an excellent location, across the street you can go to the beach and you are quite near to the center of the city. The room was huge and had a nice sea view. The parking is located very near to the rooms. The Hotel Club has a nice pool and a very good restaurant, breakfast was good and the waiters were very friendly. The price is very reasonable, high value for money. The garden is very well kept.

The maintenance of the buildings is not so good, the number of our room was missing, a window in the restaurant was broken, but nobody seems to care for these "details". A pity, because it could be a 10 points hotel. Also the Wifi in the room was weak (was good in restaurant and reception

This is a 4 star rated hotel. Although is in good place and nice pool and garden is there, rooms are really, really, really old fornitured and need a renew. Services in rooms are VERY basic as in the restaurant. No air conditioning. Small rooms. Helpdesk is not managed in person (only for checkin and checkout). When you arrive you are instructed (if not warned) to use only watsapp to extend requests or call reception, not professional.

Hotel is located next to the beach and a promenade. They offered us a room on the 7th floor with an excellent view on the ocean through very large windows. The food served at hotel's restaurant and at pool's bar is excellent - I've eaten the best completo italiano during my stay in Chile. The breakfast is served in the form of buffet with an abundancy of typical breakfast products as well as fruits and cakes. The staff is very helpful, they helped us find and organize trips in the area and gave us some advice on how to get around the area.

What is hotel's advantage - the location next to the beach - is also its disadvantage when it comes to the distance to the historic center of La Serena. There is no regular public transport (which is obviously not hotel's fault) and it takes about 40 minutes to get there on foot. Some public areas of the hotel could benefit from renovation.

Location on the strip is great. Across the street from a beach service with chairs (drinks and food too!), and you don’t need to walk far for good restaurants. While the property is dated, it is very clean with well kept grounds. The pool area is nice to relax in and the pool bar very convenient. The staff were all very delightful.

There wasn’t anything I disliked about the hotel.

The breakfast and the setting are very good. The people at the front desk are outstanding. They happily arrange really good tours. Miriam who helps with parking gets gold stars.

The food in the evening could use some attention. It might help to have fewer choices with more focus on quality.

Beds are extremely comfortable, and the showers were great. The swimming pool bar is nice. The gave me a very good recommendation for tour company. I really like this hotel.

The swimming pool is cold. It would be much better if the water was warm. Some of the furniture looked worn. The music in the swimming pool was not of my taste. The bingo and contests in the swimming pool were just noise to me. I would rater have peace and quiet and not loud music.

Location was great. Breakfast was pretty good (more hot options would have been appreciated). Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The mattress was too soft and the pillows were pretty lumpy. There was no bar soap in the bathroom, not even for washing hands...had to use shower gel for hand washing.

The hotel room was very spacious, and had a view of both the pool and the ocean.

Check in is not until 4pm. Which is extremely late in the day especially if you have an early flight. The hotel seemed very quiet and empty, however I could not check in earlier.

Location great for excellent beaches,facilities comfortable with pool. Staff friendly and helpful,helped with tour to elqui valley, amazing. Breakfast good value and tidy clean hotel for a beach resort.

Really good place (in front of ocean) with private parking. Tasty food in restaurant and quick & nice waitresses. Comfortable & big bed and extensive modern bathroom.

Quite thin walls, so sometimes you can hear the neighbor's alarm clock or voices from the next room...
