Staff were very polite and accommodating. Not being able to converse in Mandarin with them staff took their time to help us working through our day to day itinerary even showing us nearest bus stop. Xiong Guifang bfast staff was caring and kind assisting us with her limited English. Thank you for providing excellent support during our 3 days stay. Will recommend hotel.

It was mentioned metro and train station was within 10mins walking but in reality it took roughly 20-30mins walking.

Staff members were absolutely incredible. They spent time trying to assist me in sorting out what was wrong with my phone E-Sim setup. Absolutely brilliant staff. Breakfast was good, offered both Chinese and English breakfast style. They had a laundry facility, which meant that I could wash some of my clothes. I highly recommend this hotel due to the staff members. I love them with all my heart and how they interacted with me. Those three ladies who helped me with my E-Sim phone set-up, you ladies are the real champions and real heroes.

One thing that bites all hotels in the world, is the ability for them to always make sure that molds in the bathrooms are being taken care off. The white silicon edges of the sink and showers must always be scrubbed, to prevent them from turning black. That is all I have to say, and this is synonymous to every hotel I have stayed in, around the world.

I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. Arriving very late at night (at shuangliu international airport) the only option I had it was a taxi (46CNY) and was met in the hotel by English speaking staff. I was allocated a non-smoking room on the 15th floor, very spacious, huge bathroom, windows facing the highway/South Railway Station. Room had no wardrobe, no safe box but had a small fridge. Also, you do not really need adaptors as there are many sockets for travellers. Room with breakfast cost was 321.63CNY per nights! -Location: it is a 15-20 minutes walk to South Railways Stations -Exit E (Metro line 1, 7, 19). Outside the metro exit there are few/old tuk tuk; try negotiate the cost because they want 20CNY for a 2 minutes drive to the hotel. However, as the hotel is next to the highway Didi is a good alternative (NOTE: when using DIDI the hotel name is Chengdu Maitian Tianyue Hotel). Hotel to Panda Research site 36, hotel to Terminal 2 of Shuangliu airport 34 CNY On Guanghe Yijie street there are many "family-run" restaurants, big portion from 7 to 20CNY. -Hotel breakfast: good variety of Asian and European food Others: there is a bar in the foyer but it was alway closed. I did not asked but they changed the bed linen; and although I left the towel on the hook, it was changed every day. There is an environmental card on the side of the bed of the procedures; it may be a good idea to remind the staff

LOCATION. To get to subway South Railway Station you need to walk 15-20 minutes, the walk is not scenic at all. So you end up using taxi most of the time. Alternatively, there is a public bus No.16 station right in front of hotel. And the bus takes you directly to city center for 2RMB. Also, there is literally no stores or restaurants within 5 minutes walk around the hotel.

The staffs at the frontdesk were very friendly. On the day we arrived, the two girls helped my friend to use the washing machine and dryers and watched the clothes out for him until we were back at hotel around 22:00. Sadly we didnt notice their names. But we will not forget how good they are. The breakfast was very good also, it is continental starting at6:30 and everyone could get enough what they want. Staffs behind nudelbar were very friendly and gave me lots of infos what the dishes are. We mainly tried the chinese dishes. On the day we left, Mrs Wen had a nice talk with us and gave us some nice infos about subway.

This hotel is very comfortable and easy to reach from the "old" international airport (just 30 minutes). The hotel has nice up to date rooms and very good beds. The bath room and shower are comfortable and clean. The lobby has nice seating areas. The buffet breakfast is large with a lot of choice. Good coffee,

It is a pity that the "bar" in the lobby seating area was not open.

We were initially assigned rooms on a smoking floor, and after we gave feedback on it, the counter staff kindly gave us a room upgrade on a non-smoking floor. It was great! Facilities-wise, the food in the restaurant was not bad and the laundry room was great.

The hotel lobby constantly smelt like cigarette smoke, so it wasn't pleasant to linger for long. The clothes dryer runs for indefinite amounts of time, which makes it hard to predict when the runs will finish. Would be nice if the hotel had a gym.

The service was simply excellent. We had a room that was a bit smelly because of old smoke and asked for a room change. We got an upgrade to an even more spacious room. The laundry room with washing machine and dryer could be used for free as well which we needed to wash our clothes. The employees were always polite and helpful. I can highly recommend this place.

The location is not as close to the south railway station as you might think. The walking distance is about 15-20 minutes, which can be exhausting during summer.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever been. For the price we paid, the room size, style and the buffet was incredible. The staff were amazing in helping us get around Chengdu and helped everytime we had tourist questions. The hotel was very beautiful and I can only talk high of them. I highly recommend!

I stayed here for a night during the lunar new year. It was my first time in Chengdu. Besides the location, which is a bit far from most of the tourist sites, the hotel is great. The room is large, the bed is large, and the bathroom is well equipped. The TV is also very big. Overall I felt the room was quite comfortable, yet the price was actually among the lowest I paid during my entire trip in China. Instead of walking to the hotel from Chengdu South Railway station, which is the closest metro station but takes about 10 minutes or more, I suggest taking a Didi, as the hotel is located near a highway so you can get to and from different places around the city pretty quickly. That's the only negative about the hotel in my opinion, is that nearby there isn't really anything available in terms of shopping or food.
