Excellent communication and service. I booked the hotel through booking.com from Canada and made a request for their shuttle bus picking up service. Molley communicated with me immediately about my flight information. When I arrived, the driver contacted me immediately and it was a good experience. Same as the day we left the packed breakfast, and the shuttle was well arranged. All the girls at the front desk provide good service. We wanted to call a taxi to the University Town but had never used the app. Camellia did the work for us until we got to the taxi. We asked for one ore roll of toilet paper, and their robot sent the toilet paper to our room. I strongly recommend this hotel to international travellers for their first time in Chongqing. We can tell this because we lived in a hotel in the University Townwhich for two nights. We miss this hotel and come back to enjoy our last night in this hotel during the same trip.

Simple, clean, with a hint of subtle class. Jessi Fang at the reception was exceptional; always available and proactive in helping out with inquiries and solutions. She saved us a trip downtown by helping us book our exit flights to Guangzhou at a great discount. She even helped book my wife’s onward flight to Berlin painstakingly and without fuss. Her colleague, Evan Song was also very helpful and kind with a smile. Breakfast (included in our booking) was pretty standard with a generous helping of fruit, cereal, baked goods and Chinese cuisine (didn’t have an issue with the choices because I enjoy Chinese food). Dinner at the restaurant was also affordable, and we were usually over-filled. The concierge and Aayi (didn’t catch their names) at the restaurant were also helpful. All together, we really enjoyed our stay here, and will repeat next time we’re in Chongqing.

Nothing really. Chongqing was pretty cold during our stay; can’t fault the hotel for that. lol.

The location was a 15-minute drive from the airport. The hotel provides complimentary 1-way transport to or from the airport.

The room had the smell of cigarette smoke. The air conditioner in the room did not work. We had to open the window to let in some fresh air and to cool down the room. However that meant there was noise from the trains once the station started operating in the early morning.

The airport transfer arranged by Holiday Inn Express was smooth and punctual, the reception was also courteous and helpful with our stay as well as allowing us to have late check out to accommodate our travel schedule. The rooms were spacious and clean and were well equipped with amenities. The breakfast was spectacular as well. I like to give special to our driver 周师傅 and receptionist 小芳 for their great service.

The staff was really nice and helpfull and especially Amy Li that helped us so much when we tried to get to the hotel and also did a fast check in so the kids could get to bed! Rooms were really nice and the free airport transfer was really really nice.

The only thing we didn´t like was the breakfast. Offcourse if you like Chinese breakfast then it was for sure good. But we like to have yoghurt, toast and that kind of breakfast that we have had at other hotels in China (even other Holiday inn express). There were just some strange yoghurt that not even I liked (that likes all flavours), and no juice, no butter. So the kids were really unhappy and thats always a bad start of the day when that happens.

We arrived late at night so we booked the hotel near the airport so we could have a good night rest. Free airport pick up was arranged and by a Tesla car which made my hubby happy :) The hotel is cleaned with all necessary amenities that are required. Helpful staff at reception too! Robot machines were used to deliver mineral water. Breakfast was decent too. It is about 20mins drive away to the main city area. We enjoyed our stay here.

Value and cleanliness were exceptional

It was very difficult for taxi drivers to find the property. Our 1st driver gave up and made us get out. Our second driver also had great difficulty. Apple Maps doesn’t show the property. Google maps which we were told not to use, did show the property. I decided as a last resort to try it, and it worked.

The hotel staff was very friendly, especially Miss Meredith Yan, who was exceptionally helpful and kind. The location is excellent – right next to the railway, which is very convenient, and the airport is also very close.

We didn’t particularly enjoy the breakfast – it was quite basic and could have offered more variety.

Very delicious, but there should be fried eggs. There's more variety in bacon. The location of the accommodation should be in the city. There are 24-hour shops where you can buy things or there is a lawson in the hotel for service.

It's time to communicate with employees. The staff looked suspicious as if they didn't understand the language.

Conveniently located near Changhe metro station and only a 5 minute drive from the airport terminals. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Meredith on reception was very helpful during check in, including organising my airport transfer.
