We picked this hotel due to its close proximity to Guangzhou Northern Station. It's only a few hundred feet straight walk. On the checkout day, since we had kids and luggage, we still decided to call taxi. The front desk lady (Ms. Gong) courteously offered to give us a ride, but declined to accept money. Overall, hotel staff are very nice and helpful - something I rarely see in the US and yet the tip culture is toxic.

My only complaint is that the rooms are slightly smoked-in.

Near the Guangzhou north Railway station. Friendly staff.

Fancy place- electric blinds! Clean. Modern. Located reasonably close to trains. Kitchen staff were lovely, very helpful identifying food. Location was good for us. This is further out of town, not a tourist area. We were the only Europeans on the streets here. Easy train system to get into town. 10 min safe walk to the station. Good value hotel.

Simple requests seemed like an effort for staff to perform. We had to request breakfast tickets, and prove that we ought to have been given them. We then had to have our keys reset for a second night on a 2 night stay. Cleaning staff ignored the do not disturb signs multiple times. What annoyed us most was when the cab driver ripped us off and reception clearly saw what was happening and didn’t step in to help, despite us asking for assistance. They allowed the cabby into the hotel up to our room! Breakfast was…Ok. Lots of variety. Asian style. Limited European options, sweat bread for the eggs. The gym was pointless- 3 weights and a treadmill.

Location suited us. Breakfast was reasonable.

Everything except location. It was noisy, everyone who came into the hotel behind us was attended to first, the smell of smoke was sickening.
