Very modern and clean hotel. I like the automation, the design, the comfort of the beds. Staff was very polite but they don't speak english at all. But are friendly enough to use translator to help you with anything. We walked to the West Lake, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes walking. Good location. Many options of stores, food, and shopping nearby at Yan`an Road and Kerry Center. Also, very close to a metro station so we arrived by Fast Train and took the metro right to our place

Nothing really. The only thing it could do better is not allowing guests to smoke at the common areas and corridors

The location of the property is close to West Lake, LinYin Temple, and WuLin Square. It is also surrounded by lots of great food places. It also provides good variety breakfast and the two lady staff serving the breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. The young gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, he helped us with our AliPay App. The property provides laundry facilities and car park, they were the icing on the cake.

The air-conditioner was not really operating at night which we queried with the staff. The temperature went up to 25-28’C in the middle of the night, and woke us up due to stuffiness. The two rooms next to us left their doors open most of the times probably due to the limited air flow and they were very noisy, affecting our sleep. This did not get resolved in the end as the air-conditioning is centralised and not operating during the season of our stay unless you stay during summer time when the air-conditioning will be turned on at night.

The staff were incredibly helpful, even though there was a language barrier. They went above and beyond, using translation tools to ensure clear communication and meet my needs. The rooms were clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. One of the best things about this hotel is its location – it's just a short walk from the MRT station.

While the hotel offers great value and service, there was a noticeable cigarette smell in the lift lobby and hotel lobby. This might be common in some areas, but it could be bothersome for non-smokers. However, I'm pleased to say that there was no cigarette smell in the room, and it was very clean.

Stayed Not v 24-29 2024-10th floor Hotel is just 20m from Exit D3 of Fengqi Road（风起路）mrt station. It is at a big road junction but our room was relatively quiet. Room is big, clean and comfortable. It comes with a big bathtub and hotel provides a milk concoction for the long bath. Breakfast spread is standard - chinese + some foreign - spread. The mrt lines at Fengqi station are Line 1 ( to Hangzhou Int'l Airport & Highspeed East Stn) & 2. Hotel is within walking distance to a night mkt (about 500m - although 1/3 of the stalls were not in business when we went), Kerry Shopping Centre (700m away) and West Lake (15-20 mins slow walk). There is a nice bakery just downstairs. There are billiard table, table tennis table and some exercise equipment, washing machine+ dryer on the fifth floor. A lounge and an outdoor yard. The staff is polite, helpful and accommodating.

Firstly, we loved the hotel room as it was cozy and modern as well with the spotlight effect and the fact that the sound of the TV is connected to the speakers. The soft music was a bonus also as it started playing when we entered the room. I strongly recommend doing the free laundry at night as there's less people using the washing machines. The breakfast was wonderful and had a lot of variety. The staffs and cleaning ladies were very helpful as well. The exterior garden was very peaceful. The hotel is located near many local & fast food restaurants, the metro and West lake as well.

We had an issue with the bed and pillows. They were not very comfortable to sleep.

sweet, helpful staff, satisfying breakfasts. all very clean. excellent location…for its public transportation( buses, metro.. a direct line direct to both Hangzhou North Station and the Airport. few blocks walk/ one stop by bus.. to food and stall markets, upscale shopping centers, and lake front, West Lake… if i be back in Hangzhou, i would lodge there again.. over all.. excellent for value and location.

no unnecessarily gold plated hardware, tricky controls to its many light, shades… somewhat dated furnishing. and… i should not complain.

The location is next to a subway stop (Line 1, Fengqi Road) and walking distance to West Lake and the Night Market with all its potential eateries. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is accomodating and helpful in trying to meet your needs and requests, regardless of the language barrier. Desk and large sofa for reading and chill out with music from the surround system. Breakfast with well stocked and delicious Chinese cuisine, and with acceptable western style options. Highly recommended!

There are minor issues that i no way spoiled the overall experience: 1. The automatic starting of the television and music from the surround system became tiering after a few days. 2. The cycling of color shift in mood lights could be even more soft, to increase an calm and ambient atmosphere. This could easily be adjusted by a technician. 3. There could be a drawer under the build-in sofa for storage space, as closet space is limited.

The room is spacious, and cleanliness is up to standard. The location is indeed very convenient, next to Metro. Walkable to the West Lake and Wulin Night Market. I would particularly like to thank Sammi Wang (or Huang) at the front desk. A very pleasant and helpful lady. Gave us very useful advice in the planning of transport to the sightseeing locations. Sammi can also speak Cantonese, which makes me feel at home. Communications became easier as I am not a good Mandarin speaker.

The gym, table tennis, and laundry area are all in the same place. Don't feel comfortable when the guests are all using the facilities at the same time. The table tennis rackets need to be replaced.

The location was a short didi ride from Hangzhou East train station. Furthermore, the hotel was very close to the Fengqi Road train station as well. we loved the location as it was just a short walk to the Wulin Night market and many food and attractions were nearby as well. The hotel staff were very kind and provided us with excellent service. Had a pleasant experience as I was able to communicate with staff easily using the message function from booking.com , the staff were able to help us with a time extension as we were stuck in traffic before checking out as well. thank you to the team for the excellent stay and services rendered. will definitely stay here again when I am visiting Hangzhou. The rooms were spacious and clean, USB ports were available together with the wall sockets and made it super easy to charge my devices.

Wow! What an amazing and surprising hotel. I travel a lot to China for work, and while good hotels are usually... just hotels, the experience at EBO was different. The hotel I usually stay at in Hangzhou wasn’t available, so I booked a room at EBO. From the outside, the hotel looked quite simple and unremarkable, which made me a bit concerned at first. However, as soon as I stepped into the lobby on the fifth floor, I discovered a hidden gem. The lobby and courtyard are beautifully designed in a Japanese/Nordic style. The check-in process was quick, and they even upgraded my room. The room itself was by far the most beautiful one I’ve stayed in over the past few years: it had a stunning view of the city, a warm and minimalist design, a huge and comfortable bed, and an enormous bathtub. There was also a built-in sound system in the room, which was super cool. After two weeks of traveling across China, I had a peaceful and relaxing evening in the room. Everything felt brand new, from the furniture to the bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was a classic Chinese breakfast—delicious for those who enjoy and are open to trying it. Personally, I enjoy a Chinese breakfast, but for those who aren’t as fond of it, I’m afraid there aren’t many “Western” options available at breakfast. The reception staff also allowed me to check out late, which I greatly appreciated. I had an amazing and unexpected experience! Can’t wait to return soon.
