The location is not that centrally located that you can find many malls or restaurants, nevertheless as the underground train station is just outside the hotel, it is very easily accessible to all the nearby shopping centres and all the points of interest in Luoyang. We have encountered good and efficient front desk staff like all the Holiday Inn Hotels we used in China, warm and willing to help to give the best assistance they could, they helped me to locate a Bank of China branch nearby which can help to update my latest passport details while I failed to do it twice at ZhengZhou

The location is a bit off central but with the help of subway station just next door, it helped to travel to all the points of interest easily

Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. The room price is reasonable for a twin sharing room. Strategic location right next to metro station with a minute walk. Room is spacious cum with kettle, tea and coffee.Free wifi. Free breakfast with plenty of choices for Chinese local but minimal for western breakfast type. We are allowed to put our luggage in the baggage storage room after check out in the hotel and return to collect it back.

The only drawback is long queue for the coffee at the coffee machine during breakfast in the restaurant. There was something wrong with the coffee machine and lack of staff to look into it.

The rooms seemed significantly larger compared to European Holiday Inns, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was acceptable, and the staff was polite and helpful. After check-out, we left our belongings in storage and picked them up later in the evening without any issues.

We checked in closer to the evening, and one of the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes. We requested a room change, and our request was promptly accommodated, though our earlier request for adjacent rooms was not fulfilled.

The bed was really comfortable and choice of pillows. The shower was great:spacious, good temperature, good pressure. The staff were very helpful and used translate app to communicate. The breakfast had a mix of international and Chinese dishes. The hotel was around 15 mins from the train station.

Request a non smoking floor if you don't like the smell of cigarettes. Leave plenty of time to get to the train station, traffic is very busy. No fridge in the room.

We had a large corner room with amazing views of the city. Great water pressure in the shower. Metro right outside made it very easy to get around even though the hotel was not near the tourist sites. We had our laundry done at the hotel and it came back very quickly and beautifully cleaned and pressed.

We were there during a huge convention so reception was extremely busy. We had to wait in line for a long time to check in. Not the staff’s fault. Also the room was overheated and we had some difficulty getting it cooled down.

Good location with a subway station right at the corner, and shops and restaurants at a walking distance too. The staffs are helpful especially the housekeeping staff who is very attentive to the guests needs. Happy to see there is a free laundry provided. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Breakfast is more or less the same everyday (we stayed for 3 nights), serving fried beansprouts for consecutively 2 days. There should be more western variaties since they're a lot of foreigners' groups too.

Given the price, this hotel my expectation. My room was huge with large windows on 2 sides. Although it had dated furniture, it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable with choice of pillows and quality crispy clean bedding. Breakfast was mostly Chinese, but there were some items for western tastes so I never went hungry. Location was ok - few stops on the metro from railway station. Hotel helped with an excellent driver for couple of days travelling around Luoyang. Very helpful staff, although with limited English. Overall, I am happy with my choice and wouldn't have minded to stay longer.

Location-wise, the hotel is largely in a commercial and government offices district, so is not exactly surrounded by hospitality and other tourist draw cards. However, using Line 2 of the connected subway service (follow the green signs when transiting from Longmen Luoyang Fast Train Station), it’s only 3 stops to Citizens Home Subway Station. The hotel is right behind the Station as you emerge from Exit D. Having this service right outside the front door is a major saving grace, as it opens the city from what proved to be, an otherwise uninteresting location……..and there is much to see in the wider area of this very historic and beautiful city!! The hotel itself is clean, well appointed, with good sized and comfortable rooms/ beds/ bathrooms etc. Staff were very good but there is basically only Chinese spoken, so if you have no language capability, you will struggle. The breakfast offering was diverse, extensive, and a very good mix of Chinese and Western offerings. You would be hard-pressed not to be satisfied! Any other food & beverage offerings are either by vending machines on the ground floor, ordering-in (if you have the ability to do so), or walking down to the local restaurants on ZhongHe St, about 120 m away from the hotel. From a cost perspective, I thought the hotel was at the pricier end of the spectrum at around 165 USD per night for 2 people with breakfast included, but it was a holiday period so perhaps was to be expected. All in all, I was pretty happy with the stay and the experience.

That done people smoked in the hotel even though it’s a non smoking facility………but what are you gonna do?

Hotel is super close to metro station making transportation easy. It is also located in an urban area that gives an opportunity to have a nice walk around offices and stores. The staff was friendly and they were willing to walk an extra mile for us (we were accommodated earlier than usual). Breakfast was exceptional and probably one of the best during our roundtrip through China.

We have been travelling as a group of three friends. One of the beds was not super comfortable (it was nice, but we had better experience during our trip).

Location was near Luoyang High speed station, rooms were spacious & facilities such as self launderette & restaurants just a short walk away, wide spread of breakfast have my thumbs up👍👍👍. Despite communication problems, they were very considerate & provided extra tea bags in our rooms

Non of the staff could understand or speak English which is a major disadvantage to foreign tourists .
