This is our fifth visit to the Hilton, which has outdoor pools and extensive lakefront gardens. We have been growing disappointed with the Hotel in the past two years as the pool area and grounds have become less maintained. However, it was great to see that some of the paths and one of the main outdoor pools are being renovated for the summer season. - The Executive Lounge provides a good range of drinks and snacks from lunchtime, and the happy hour buffet dinner with wines and spirits is good. - Staff are always attentive and helpful, which is appreciated. - The hotel grounds are well-kept - Plenty of activities for younger children - It was a reasonably good breakfast, but... - Many staff members speak English, which is appreciated. The hotel was quiet. (Beware of Chinese National Holidays; the hotel is full and incredibly busy and noisy!)

The outdoor buffet effectively cuts off the lake shore path, which is inconvenient. The outdoor cafe on the south side also blocks off the lakeshore. - Restaurant/bar meals and outdoor buffets are costly - The Executive lounge is closed in the mornings - Breakfast offerings are very variable; there used to be some good Western offerings; however, this has become far more Chinese and less international, which is a shame

Staff were amazing. Food at the buffet and restaurants was wonderful.

The small blue light on the night light switch was so bright it kept us up, we had to find things in the room to cover it up. The room service food was not good.

it was taking too much time on the line to check in. there were so many people in the lobby and so noise. car park was not convenient as well.

Very limited options of Western foods. There were so many people around,we had to queue up for dinner at the only one restaurant available as the other restaurant was only offering buffet. Breakfast time was chaos and unorganised. The waiters were kind of on our back waiting for us to finish our food so that he can clean away our plates. However,upon kind request the chef accepted to prepare some vegetarian fried rice for our family. Lunch options were limited to only 2 dishes on the menu. To sum up, it was not worth the price and very chaotic and unpleasant especially with a toddler.

- The room itself was very dim lighted with old furnitures and very dusty. No handrails in the bathroom and toilet for safety. Everything was kind of basic. Not even one label of Hilton Hotels on the bedsheets, pillows,bathrobes,toothbrushes. The tissue papers available were very rough as were the mediocre toothbrush and toothpaste available. It was kind of a disappointment to my family and I. No value for money. The rastaurant food was expensive and offered limited choices of western food.

1. No minibar nor snacks unless guests asked for. 2. Defective facilities around the hotel. 3. Checkin starts from 3pm, but we had to wait in line to checkin till 5pm even arrived at 4pm, and there are other guests complaint loudly as rooms were still under cleaning. 4. When we stepped into the room, floor is still wet and a little garbage left by previous guests is still on the carpet and under the sofa. 5. Breakfast were also chaos. A little choice on cereal, only vegan butter or butter available for bread and only one waffle machine. No cakes available in breakfast time.

Spa was closed without notification for the entire week of our stay and so were 4/5 of the restaurants. The bar closed at 19.30 and the food at the chinese restaurant was incredibly overpriced for the quality.
