This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing! A historic site turned into a hotel & restaurant with so much attention to detail! Very close to Biograd and the big Vrana lake, one has plenty to do in the vicinity, but the hotel is so nice that we also liked chilling in it:) The garden bar is super cool and very pleasant to hang around. The reception staff, waiters and cleaning ladies were also extremely kind and hospitable. Our room was spotless and has everything that you need. Breakfast is a là carte, and was mouthwatering, with local produce, very fresh and tasty. The whole place has such a relaxing vibe! An extremely pleasant surprise was a small happy birthday note and cake that the staff kindly left in our room to mark my birthday which really made my day extra special! We would like to specially give a shout-out to our waiter Ante - he was so kind, efficient, friendly yet professional and he was one of the highlights of our stay there. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place! A massive thank you to everybody who made our stay so great! :)

Absolutely stunning hotel. Really recommend if you're into the historic feel of the hotel rooms (small window!) Comfort is definitely up to standard. Receptionist was great: she walked with me to help with some luggage and later she helped me figure out the best way for me to continue my journey through Croatia. Restaurant team was amazing - kind, welcoming, explaining about the wines and food.

There were plenty of guests, but there was only one employee on call for breakfast service. This made service on the slow side - even though he worked continuously. It would've been better if they had placed a second employee to better the service.

The hotel is set in a beautiful heritage building full of character and charm, offering a unique and memorable atmosphere. Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, and the restaurant served excellent food throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The bed was not very comfortable, which affected the quality of sleep, and the toilet is in need of an upgrade to match the overall elegance and standards of the property.

We enjoyed our stay, nice spot to base ourselves for a few days to explore national parks and seaside towns. The breakfast was good, selection of meats and cheese, fresh fruit and bread with a couple of other options. It’s a gorgeous property, looks just like the photos. It’s easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. Food at the restaurant for dinner was great too.

No one pointed out many of the facilities when we checked in, just unlocked the room and gave us the hours for breakfast. The beds were soft, might be to some people’s liking though!

Outstanding setting in an old Turkish complex. Rooms integrate ancient historical details to a great effect. Restaurant offers great food and wine selection and it's a pleasure to relax in the garden.

Due to historical layout our room was a bit small and dark but on a positive side, we didn't use air-conditioning during summer heat at all. The room offers great natural temperature.

Everything was fantastic, personel took care of everything, they were responsive, helpfull and kind. Breakfast was one of best I ever had in any accomodation. Hotel is situated on old historic building with beautuful yard. There is also restaurant and brand new coctail bar. We had a lovely room with old-world charm. Lots of storage space. Comfortable bed. Easy to find. You park outside the walls, there was plenty of space. It seemed like locals had attended an event there on Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there on Sunday night, and prices were reasonable. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Information about the restaurant opening hours would have been good to know beforehand.

This is a real gem in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is superb, the restaurant is very decent, and the overall environment is unmatched. Everything is very stylish and unique. It's a great one-two day escape location.

Unfortunately, the saunas were closed due to refurbishment works. And beware — there is nothing around, be prepared to chill in the hotel itself.

Authentic stay in Croatia. If You looking for something extraordinary with some history and super tasty food in authentic restaurant - this should be Your choice. Highly recommend it for short stay or if You are planning some kind of event and you need authentic atmosphere and restaurant with amazing food.
