Fantastic hotel in a beautiful historical building at the town heart. The room "breathes" history, a quiet place as asked, and together with the excellent matres, a non disturbed sleep was guaranteed. In the morning welcomed by lady Lucie and a delicious breakfast ( buffet and menu) is served. I cant imagine a better place to stay, to explore the region and to return after an interesting day at this historical city. I'm sure I will return!

We loved everything. Perfect location in the town, the room was spacious and clean, the staff really nice to talk to, they even took care of our toddler daughter so we could have some quiet time to enjoy breakfast. And the breakfast was delicious! Private parking was also very useful to have, check-in instructions were also clear. Really happy to have chosen this place, we will certainly return when we are in the area.

Tho room was beautiful, spacious and clean with good storage and nice add ons ( water, tea and wafers and bathroom accessories). Breakfast was excellent with a choice of hot and cold options, fruit and a range of drinks. The restaurant was superb - the menu had a wide choice and all the food we had was delicious and well presented. The number of locals eating at the restaurant was testimony to the quality of food and service. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and were friendly and efficient. Prime location with parking too.

No lift but understandable given the property is from the 16th century

the location, the room was large, airy, and well-equipped, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure your stay was great, and your needs met. the breakfast was excellent, plus the eggs were cooked to order. i could find no faults.

Everything. This is exactly what all hotels should aspire to - probably our favourite hotel in the world. Staff are all perfect - helpful but not over bearing - hard when not talking your first language, the rooms are classy without being pretentious, the food and beer are top rate. We first stayed here 'by accident' in 2006 and needed to come back to confirm what we thought then. Oh - and the town is pretty good as well.

The best location in town right at the central square. Excellent restaurant with excellent wine, beer and food selection. The building is a renovated 1500s building and the rooms are decorated with antique wooden furniture which looks very good. The bathroom is very good as well. Great experience overall.

Beautiful city center and a hotel with long history. Nice old buídning, refurbished into a modern, vintage hotel. Nice staff, friendly atmosphere, great restaurant.

The most central hotel in Havlíčkův Brod, siting just on top of the main square. The house is from 16th century and you can indeed feel a touch of history there. The personnel was helpful, breakfast very good and price reasonable. The room was perfectly clean and silent.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the hotel - a nice historic property tastefully reconstructed not only to provide its guests with comfort, excellent food but also caring for genius loci. The location is great - at the well-kept historic centre, which is alive (not an open-air museum). In a walking distance, there are a museum, gallery, a nature park with a cascade of lakes, playgrounds for children etc.

It's a really comfortable place, and so lovely and cozy! The staff are very kind and hospitable! The breakfast is excellent! Highly recommend!
