The old feel of the place yet lovely and clean and all you could want in a stay. If we can we will be back! We liked it so much we wanted to stay another night but sadly it was booked out and we were not surprised.

The "matter of fact" approach of Danish people can make it seem staff are not as friendly as we would like. Nothing wrong at all but a bit more friendliness I think would be great. However tgat may be counter cultural and so not be welcomed by Danish customers. Not sure but some thoughts for you.

The ambience of the restaurant is superb, the music, sound of wine glasses on the background, the candles and the decor made us feel as if the place was out of a movie. We enjoyed the food, breakfast was very complete. The room had everything we needed.

Even the winter weather made the place look romantic =)

Great location, very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, good view (sea), good wifi, good parking.

Bathroom was on the small side with a bit of a weird tight configuration for the toilet seat (if you are big and tall you end up kind of sideways with the right arm in the sink).

Good location, especially heading north to Hirtshal ferry port. Large bedroom. Friendly staff.

Over-priced food. Gravel and cobble stone parking l, not good for motorcycles. No air conditioning.

Location was everything, the rooms were good breakfast had a great choice . Meals were good if not a little expensive.

Air conditioning for the warmer weather or even a fan.

Quiet place, with nice view

Overall the hotel is in a nice area, clean and with a good restaurant. However, I have booked for an apartment room and when I arrive they have me a standard single room without informing me about the issue. Only when I double checked my booking to see if it is matching with what I got and I raise the issue to the reception, they informed me that there was a mistake and the apartment was not available anymore. In the end they offered me the suite which was again smaller room from the apartment. I would appreciate if the information delivered right away without waiting me to address that.

Ideal for a short stay, nicely designed and minimalistic interior. Had everything we needed for one night. We chose the option with breakfast and it was delicious.
