Location, service and sleeping in a tent in the middle of the jungle was great! The food is really good. Everything is super clean and the pool is a lovely place to relax.

The additional prices you face on location are very high. Drinks are very expensive and especially the tours are extremely overpriced. You can book the same tour in the city Tena for 1/3th of the price they charge in the Lodge.

The staff could not be nicer at the Hamadrayde, the rooms were super clean, the pool gorgeous, spa treatments a real treat and food glorious…. we loved it!!! The staff really welcome you into their family, three dogs, a monkey and a coati…. all really friendly and not at all harmful. The coati comes to you for cuddles and nothing else…. the dogs bark and monkey climbs your legs….. it’s all lovely…. one big happy family….. the staff organised trips, treatments and made us feel very at home.

nothing…. the staff are really considerate about all of their animals and if you are worried or scared, let them know and they will keep them from you….

This place was magical! It was truly the lodge of my dreams. I’ve travelled a lot - 50 + countries and this might be one of my favourite stays ever. It’s this little tropical oasis with a gorgeous pool, fantastic staff, great food, massages available on site, gorgeous bungalows. It was the best value compared to the similar lodges that were $800/night. Would highly recommend!

Everything was incredible. The only consideration for some people might be that it is a 20 minute taxi to town in Tena. A little far from restaurants etc. but for us was perfect and worth it to enjoy the beautiful sound of nature and get out of town. Easy to get taxis.

The rooms feel very secluded and luxurious. I was a bit worried about bugs but had minimal intrusions. Breakfast was excellent The hosts were so helpful and responsive helping us arrange transport in advance via WhatsApp and answering all our questions

We loved the lodge itself but were quite disappointed by the tours we did. (The nightwalk and parrot trip). They weren’t really as described and our guide was not very interested in showing us things/ telling us about the area.

Good boutique option with five cabins. The food was extremely good - great range of options and some of the best food we have had in Ecuador and Colombia. The range of tours available via Hamadryade’s operators is very good - Carlos was a great asset to the team. Cabins are very private - you really do feel like you are staying somewhat in the jungle here.

The drive up to the property on their long access road is not currently suited to anything but 4x4’s.

Breakfast was amazing, the room was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only thing missing for me was black tea - a very tiny thing in an otherwise AMAZING experience.

The staff could not have been friendlier and the food was consistently delicious. The lodge is set in a beautiful location overlooking a canopy of tropical flora, with views out over the Napo valley. We saw beautiful stars, swam in the refreshing eco-pool and found it a perfect base for exploring Puerto Misahualli, the Napo Valley, and Tena. We had no issues with any of the animals like others have mentioned.

The rooms have fans rather than Aircon which was fine for us, but just a note for those that struggle in high heat and humidity.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The room was amazing, lovely staff and delicious food. Friendly animals who come to say hi from time to time :-)

Excursions are a bit expensive. Be patient when you order drinks & food

Hamadryade offers a great experience, especially for the price. The rooms are luxurious and the overall facility is great. The food is really excellent, can be a bit pricey depending on your budget, but really the best food we had while in Ecuador. The activities we got the chance to do were really fulfilling and gave us a little look at the wildlife and culture in Puerto Misahuallí. With a little flexibility, this is a really amazing place to stay.

Location, ambiance, really broad menu and food really well cooked and presented. Very comfortable

Omission of a tea and coffee machine in the room. I like a cup of coffee when I get up but there was nothing other than waiting for breakfast. Similarly none available during the day. A small thing but to me would make a difference. The food was very tasty with fresh ingredients, except on our first night we gave our order and both mains were wrong. Otherwise, superb.
