We stayed there for a few nights at the beginning of May but we wished we could have stayed there longer. We absolutely loved the hotel! It was very close to the pyramids and we could see them from our rooms and from the rooftop. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our flight got cancelled on our last day and the owner accommodated us for one more night which gave us extra day that we decided to spend on the hotel's rooftop. Amazing hospitality! The atmosphere on the rooftop was just great with a lot of lights and comfy seating areas. We really enjoyed having food and drinks while admiring pyramids and the desert. The chef was really friendly, he came to speak to us about what we wanted for food which was really nice. Our flight back was early in the morning but we were given packed breakfast so we didn't miss out on that. The hotel also offers a lot of very interesting trips but we unfortunately didn't know about it until our arrival. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when we go back to Giza and book some trips with them.

Maybe it would be a good idea to contacts customers after they book the hotel with more information on trips and tours they offer as they were very interesting.

It was a real home from home. The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful location all made for an amazing stay. Dr Mohammed arranged all our tours tailor made to what we wanted both in cairo and when we travelled on to luxor. The family who runs the hotel is amazing! They planned every day out for us and made sure we had amazing tours in place. We hit everything we wanted to in Cairo and would love to stay with them again.

the rooftop of the hotel was truly incredible with a fantastic view of the pyramids. Dr Mohamed was a really amazing host who made us feel very welcome and sorted us out with various trips and tours. the bed was extremely comfortable. the breakfast was good and the food in the evenings (you pay extra for this) was delicious

the only thing we wish could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathroom. also there was a leak in our bathroom but as soon as we notified the staff of this it was sorted straightaway.

It's not the location or the facilities that makes this hotel great, it's the people! Dr. Mohammed welcomed us after a very difficult night and made us feel good and safe. Nicole and every other person working there is very proffesional (drivers, guides and the rest of the stuff). The activities outside the hotel which organised by them were great. The terrace is huge with view on the pyramids. The breakfast is traditional. We celebrated New Year's Eve together like a family. I would definitely go back there when I visit Giza again!

The hotel should have a bigger variety of coffee for breakfast. The roads outside the hotel are not paved.

Our stay in Desert Moon was amazing! The breakfast prepared each morning was delicious, and the rooms were so lovely and clean, turn down service by the staff and fresh towels daily. The owner and the entire staff were so welcoming and friendly to my fiance and I. Will absolutely be staying at Desert Moon in the future, anytime we visit Egypt, and would 100% recommend to others. Great boutique hotel experience with a lovely and helpful staff, great property.

The room was clean and comfy. The location was excellent to places l wanted to visit. Dr Mohamed and Mr Magdy were welcoming and helpful.

Facilities could be better. Television can be fixed. There can be an open cafeteria at night for quick snacks.

The location worked perfectly for me. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace with the view of the Pyramids was amazing. The staff were very personable and just wanted to help you get the most out of stay.

Everything was great, although slightly wider/darker curtains would have been good.

The rooftop view of the pyramids are absolutely amazing. The streets around the hotel is pretty bad, but a few driver told me, they going to renovate the whole system until next year. The owner, Dr. Mohammed, and his wife, and the assistant Nicole, they are AMAZING. They are true hospitable people. They have a very positive attitude, and they’re all very friendly. Trust in me, if you organise anything with their help, and you listen their advices, you’ll be guaranteed to be happy. Absolutely recommend place. They’re just simply the best.

I liked everything. I mean, you’re in Egypt, you have to be relaxed. if you freak out of unevenly placed wall or floor tiles, or not soundproof windows, it’s. or your hotel. Other than that the staff works very hard 24/7 to keep you happy.
