Room was very quiet and roomy. Our particular room had two balconies. On one you could see the sunrise (and the sea), and the other could see the sunset. (And the pool) The hotel is in an awesome location for shopping and restaurants, and both the pool and the beach were readily accessible from the hotel. (The water in the pool was a little colder than we liked) The hotel provides beach/pool towels with a carefully regulated system. We weren't sure if we were supposed to take them to the beach, but the sand on the beach is coarse, so it doesn't stick to the towels anyway. Bed and room were comfortable. No kitchen, but there was a small fridge that we stored drinks in during our stay. The breakfast was good, but we ended up opting for other restaurants in the area for dinner due to our schedule.

Parking was subcontracted to a local parking lot which was 650m from the hotel, which was not that convenient most of the time, though we could load and unload our luggage at the hotel. I usually dropped off my family at the hotel and went to park myself. There was too much light leaking around the curtains at night, and the unique lighted closet area (which was for the most part extremely convenient) had a small light on the on/off switch which also caused extra light in the room, which we weren't able to cover all four of them. So, if you're light sensitive like my wife you might have trouble sleeping.

The design and the location of the property are amazing! The fact that you have direct access to the beach and a swimming pool make it perfect for a family getaway. Our room was spacious and even fit the baby crib without any problem. You are in a busy town but the hotel is a quiet spot and with the AC on we had a good night sleep.

The shower was super small, especially if you need to bath your baby in there. And the temperature kept switching between hot and cold. Also I don’t mind the changing bed sheets every 3 days but I would at least expect my bed to be made in a 4* hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean, and I had had a nice view. I loved being able to have a drink out on the patio and servers taking your order. The location was great, a walk through the lobby, the outdoor deck and then you are at the beach. Additionally, we were so close to shopping, restaurants and it was a mere walk to the bus station to get to Barcelona,; it was very easy. I was very grateful for the ladies at check in as they helped me sort a lot of things out. I really hope I can bring my family back here from the US.

The restaurant only offered a fixed price for food, and dinner was a buffet. Although they had a small bar that offered grab and go items. That was mainly my only dislike and it wasn't terrible. I just didn't want to pay the price of a buffet for food I knew I wouldn't eat. So I did spend my money at other places for food.

- Great location with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. You have direct access to the beach from the hotel. - Nicely furnished, large rooms with an exceptional sea view; - Very friendly and helpful staff; - Tasty breakfast with lots of options; - Pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel last year and decided to return this year. The decision was worth it. Would return again.

The sink in our room wasn’t working very well, but it did not affect much our stay. Overall the facilities are well maintained.

Hotel located in the front of the beach, very clean, the size is good enough, staff very friendly and helpful. The balcony had a nice lateral sea view, as shown in the hotel photos.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable. We stayed in the unrenovated room and it was good. However, despite not being renovated, which we did not mind at all, not having a sink lid on the hand wash basin reveals a bit lack of care for a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless, this does not take any value to the room itself.

We were in the room facing the sea. Very romantic, we woke up looking at the sunrise and we used to spend some time drinking something just listening the noise of the waves. It was clean and spacious, although the bathroom was a bit small, maybe for some few money it was worth to take the next level room

The parking is too expensive, although we were lucky to find something on the street and didn’t have to pay for it.

1. The personnel of the reception were super kind and helpful (+24h reception so you could also go out and come back whenever you liked). 2. The cleaners came everyday around 13:00 ‘o clock, which was perfect since we would be out on trips or swimming. The room was perfect everytime we came back. 3. You only had to step out of the hotel to immediately find the beach. The beach was very clean and the water was lovely! 4. The centre is approximately a 10 min walk (there you can also find a pharmacy) and there were supermarkets in a 5 min walk radius.

There is a busstation in Platja d’Aro from where you can travel to Barcelona (for example). If you want to make use of this busline, be sure to buy your bustickets on time at the busstation itself. In this busstation they work with appointed seats and the bus only leaves every 1,5 hour. If all the seats are taken, you will have to wait for the next available time slot.

A large dog friendly hoteright on the beach, ideal location for swimming. It has a restaurant onsite (there are many along the seafront). Friendly reception, parking 30 meters away. We had booked a basic room - with side view of the sea-, which was good enough for 2 nights as it is not exactly large.

When we went into our room, the musty smell was overpowering as there was a serious leak coming from the ceiling. I am surprised that the room hadn't been checked beforehand, as the ceiling was stained enough (the issue was not new, according to me..). We were given a fresh room, but lost 45 minutes in the process...

We loved our stay at Aromar! The staff were lovely and accommodating, and they made our stay feel really special. The view from our room was amazing. The location is perfect – right on the beach – and the pool was great too. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet; the food was tasty with plenty of choice.

Location right on the beach, and 5 minutes walk to main street where all the restaurants are. Nice breakfast buffet. Pool was nice although not too big. Pet friendly. Small fridge in the room.

The room was quite small and didn't have coffee facilities.
