They had many activities at the resort. The resort is expanding which makes more room for sightseeing and just going for a walk. The villas were nice and clean.

The path to the villas is made of gravel and rocks and you have to walk a steep hill. Should put side rails for easier access on the path or create side stairs for better stability when walking up and down the path. Beach front villa is not on the beach, but overlooks the beach and resort.

Dua Dua beach resort is located on the northern tip of Fijian Island Viti Levu. The resort's beautiful duplex rooms scattered on the hills slope overlooking the ocean. It's unique massage pavilion surrounded by sea waters and you could fall sleep during the massage session with sea waves sound and drizzling in the air. The captain Jimmy can take you for a boat ride and organises water sport activities. Dipping into the sea side swmming pool is another plus after a day of outing. The owners Latchman and Savita are on site making sure the smooth running of the business. Reception girls are always eager to help and kitchen staff are fantastic. Will definitely come back visiting this paradise and a shinning pearl in Fiji.

Paid extra $70 a night for beach front that didn’t exist, all villas are uphill beach view no need to upgrade, asked them for refund but was told I should be asking booking.com since they took my booking, I should cancel and re book the room however I booked same day as my check in and notified by booking. Com I can’t cancel otherwise I would be fully charged for my stay , so I didn’t bother calling or emailing booking. Com hopefully they can read this comment and email me back with the $70 refund

No steps Walking down from villas to main restaurants and beach are dangerous

Lots. The staff were exceptionally engaged with us & keen to assist at all times. All the rooms had an amazing view. This meant that it was a reasonable climb to them from the resort facilities, but there was road access & many of those with vehicles drove up & down. Everything about the rooms was modern & clean. We did have a couple of maintenance issues but they were attended to quickly. The room price was a little on the expensive side for us, but once we factored in the free buffet breakfast & the included water activities - a 30 minute scenic boat ride in the bay & kayaking for example, it was such good value.

Most of the 12 villas are set up as duplexes with a connecting door for families etc. This did not present a security issue & may not even have been the main cause of sharing even the sound of footsteps with your neighbours? In short, sound-proofing between rooms was lacking.

It was clean & comfortable, in great quiet location surrounded by wildlife and nature. We had the pool to ourselves all day. Hot showers were great after a week staying in backpackers & low-budget accommodation. Great views from balcony. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price was good.

Pool was a little cloudy. Lots of ash blowing around after some burn off on first night. But nothing that spoilt our stay. Walls a little thin so could hear EVERYTHING the neighbour was doing. The road in was bumpy/potholed and uncomfortable in our small rental car- not the resort’s fault but something to be aware of if self-driving.

Rakiraki seems to be an undiscovered part of Fiji and is up and coming. The resort is new and is in a beautiful setting. As always in Fiji, the Fijians are so friendly and kind. The staff were wonderful. We liked the villas on the slope and view. The villas are new and nicely designed with lovely balconies. There are views from all the villas. The snorkelling is excellent, especially where Captain Jimmy took us.

This resort is remote so having a car would be useful. Getting to is is otherwise expensive via a taxi or transfer. We didn't have a car. The restaurant is expensive for the quality. Fiji is, in general, very expensive. There isn't pleasant swimming from the beach. The villas are lovely and there are 2 bedrooms per villa. The wall between the rooms is not sound proofed so if someone is nearby, you can hear all they say and hear their snoring!

Great view from balcony. Good size room and bathroom. Watched fijian meke on Saturday night by the local fijian village children. Opportunity to go to a deserted island for snorkelling. Continental breakfast included on room rate.

Reception area was very crammed. Sign for activities was stuck on wall not easily visible. Sign at voli voli road coming from nadi was not there. We drove along an unsealed road for 20 mins where if we had continued along the main road we would have seen the sign! The construction noise from the cement mixers started at 8 am to 4.pm but this is only temporary. Hard pillows.

The staff were so friendly, Va at the reception was just excellent. The staff at the restaurant was awesome. Makeli, Ateca, Losalini and the Indian female and male staff did cup cake decor for my last minute order❤️ Total Sweetheart Guys❤️ So hardworking I appreciate you all. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Also the housekeeping team for doing the room way beyond my expectations, Very Clean.Also I cannot Forget My handsome Morgan for the Lovely Boat ride Just Awesome..Vinaka Dua Dua!! Will definitely come back again!!

The pace offers wonderful views of the ocean! The villas are at a height which makes sitting in the terrace and enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the ocean, a real pleasure! The rooms were excellently maintained, all spic and span. A complementary 20 minute boat ride was thrown in which was great.

Breakfast was good but could have been slightly better if a couple of more opcotions were available. No provision to hang clothes/towels to dry. No public transportation will be available nearby as the location is a bit away from the King's Road, right next to the sea. Best option is to have your own vehicle. Plenty of parking space is available.

The breakfast was included and was made fresh every morning. They had hot food, fresh fruit and cereals. The staff was attentive and friendly. The swimming pool was clean and towels provided.

The activity centre had a few things to offer but we didn't know about them until the last day. We found out about the boat ride from another guest.
